Pakistan to Buy Turkish Mizrak U Anti Tank Missile

Azerbaijan plans to purchase "Mızrak-U" antitank system produced by Turkish Roketsan company, Turkish media reported on March 6.

Along with Azerbaijan, Pakistan also intends to acquire this system.

Test flights of modernized "ATAK" military helicopters equipped with "Mızrak-U" system were held on March 3. "Mızrak-U" has the ability to hit targets at a distance of eight kilometers.

Mass production of these helicopters is scheduled for 2015.

Azerbaijan and Turkey signed an agreement on joint production of long-range missiles in 2011. The deal envisioned joint production of 107 and 122 mm missiles by an Azerbaijani ministry and Turkish weapons manufacturer Roketsan.

More than 20 Turkish defense industry companies have cooperation and commercial relations with Azerbaijan.

I stopped counting how many defense products Pakistan plans to buy from us, they are one of the biggest supporters of our Defense Industry development.

Our relationship with Turkey is historical our forefathers got together to do what they could to help Turkey survive and overcome their enemies.

It is one nation whose relationship with us is based on a actual muslim brotherhood of sorts rather then a self serving idea of "whats in it for me" like we have with some of the GCC (not that I am knocking the importance of Pakistans relations with the GCC or China)

If there was a Turkish need I am sure Pakistan will be the first nation to stand up to defend Turkey or provide any help we could

I doubt they are going to engage each other. The outgunning would be against MANPADs.
However, the PA could arm its cobras with ANZAs.. as the Apaches have stingers for self defence.

The video shows the missile hit the bull's eye. Great stuff. I hope the deal goes through. I also wish both countries - Turkey and Pakistan have more such defense deals that go both ways.

Turkey's progress is our progress and I hope the sentiment is reciprocated.
