well , I must disagree with you .
MEK is consisted of two layer an Elite group that consist of less than 200 people and I agree that even death is not enough for them , but also there is a body of the group that have several thousand people and they are hostages to the lite group and are being brainwashed day and night this part of the organization are just need to be separated from the head of the organization and participate in detoxification camps for several month to be able to return to the society as a productive member.

I saw some statistics about one month ago that was saying 16000 Iranian citizen have been assassinated so far(from 1979 to now) and MEK is responsible for killing 15000 of them. The head section of this organization should be executed without any mercy. rest of them are not completely innocent. many of them have assassinated or have done treason to Iran and also killed a lot of Iraqis. If anyone of them has not done killing or treason to Iran, that person can be forgiven, but rest of them do not deserve to be alive.

Even if that is true, the systematic use of torture, rapes, hangings of political activists, public intimidation, barbaric punishment laws, etc. is much more brutal than the MEK has ever committed.

Yes, both are backwards. But I know people who have served in the MEK, and those stories about hangings and torture is not true. I even know a guy who escaped the MEK base in Iraq during Saddam, and he was placed in Abu Ghraib, till the MEK agreed with his return. In the end, the MEK supported (although after refusing earlier) his desire to go to Europe to live together with his wife, peacefully.
