What's new

WOW what an image

Ahh fantastic image, reminds me of my passout from ATS School :) (Obviously no comparision to Army SSG)

SSG WITH NEW UNIFORM AND GUNS :enjoy:

Each Paramilitary outfit (FC, Sind & Punjab Rangers) has its own "commando" outfit. Nothing to do with the SSG of the Army and Navy as such. Interestingly enough, the Paramilitary units were one of the first ones to adopt Steyr AUG.

YES SIR BUT ITS LOOKS FUNNY

wow....great Pic. nice to see that these guys are holding AUGS.

I just LOVE the Aug:smitten:

Imran is right, this is looking funny...but not in a bad way.:partay:

BUT THE TITLE IS WRONG. These guys dont look anything like the SSG, I mean they are in sandels for Gods sake!

Yeah i remember the Aug when i first visited the ASF training school, altough i am not a big fan of bullpup design... Blain, did you serve?

Hi,

It is sad---first rate soldiers---third rate shoes / sandals.

Sandals are islamic and pakistani and cheap, boots are not (nor body armor), same with Shalwar and kamiz

Yar how can you say that Marra, that is traditional dress of NWFP, Milashi (Khaddri) and Kohatti Chappal and our beloved topi. I dont see the British Making fun of Ghurka traditional dress...

Tradition is always, in fact it is the substance of "good" and "right"? These are soldiers, Para military like Gendarmes, right?

You so right Muse!! lol haha and welcome back brother!!

I think the shalwar kameez has historically been a military dress, as long as you adapt it to current needs, it should be fine. But I agree, the chappals must go.

Yeah seriously, wearing chapals in combat missions, in mountain terrain...in the NWFP winter...its completely mental !!!
