Its appalling to see people here only worried about who will get blamed rather than showing sympathy for the innocent killed many families ruined.

Sympathy is is always there everywhere for killing of innocents arround the world so uttering words is not something which express this feeling.


Now coming back to the point why discussing blam game is important.

Well i am in India and from Media and we have different journalists from other countries too so we specially from Pakistan are more focused on how the other medias and specially that from India behaves in such situation and other matters relating to South Asia as well as other regions.

Now let me give my experince . Sir Ray you were saying that look the India governmnet is not blaming Pakistan well Yes i agree as i had been following the updates till late nights after the blasts, on Indian media channles.

Its very sensible on the part of Indian government that centre is not blaming blindly .

BUT one thing is very very very very confusing, regreting and very bad on the part of Indian channels as they even there is no evidence of involvement of any country yet, the CNN/IBN, NDTV, and specially Times Now channels of India all night till late were having debate pressurising the Indian government respond in the same and do such incidents.
There was the headline "Why India fails to hit back" and during the updates of the blasts incident, they were saying "When things like these are done on the part of Pakistan how can we proceed with CBMs and peace talks."

They were further suggesting that secretary level talks which will be held i guess next week (i dont know the date) should not have been held and India should not attend that.

Further these Indian chennles were pressurizing the government to end all kinds of dialouge with Pakistan and at the same time these bias chennels were blaming Bangladesh for these blasts but intresting they were giving verdict that it was done by Pakistan and the Indian government should hit back Pakistan.

This is realy intresing that Pakistani Media is paving way for peace between the countries by promoting goodwill and accurate and logical debate on different issues but the Indian media is behaving like those state-own media wherein only blaming rather giving verdict against the rival country is main focuse.

So after keenly and thoroughly scanning the Indian chennels airing political or updates of such incidents, i can say with full conviction that Indian media has long way to come on a par with some standard and independent medias in the world.

Its the Pakistan Media which has to accept the truth , which it is avoiding , that Pakistan as a society and its government has supported the extremist s and terrorism as its Policy . this is not Indian Media but the media all around the world has said .

They are political parties who like to make a point. The most extreme things they do are beating up people/ attacking offices or shops.

Oh that's convenient. The "worst" they'd do is beat you up or attack shopkeepers. Such nice people, one would not expect them to be behind trying to create anti Muslim sentiment. Great logic there!

The bombings benefit India more. Generating anti Muslim sentiment has always been on the agenda, since it helps to give a false sense of righteousness over Kashmir and other areas. Hardly the victim when seeing the reality of it all.

Frankly, when we look at these acts of terrorism, we have to understand that it is nearly impossible to stop them. An anti-terrorist officer once said that if we win (counter-terrorist) for 99 days, nobody wins and nobody notices; however, if the terrorists win on only one day, we loose, they win, and everybody notices. I agree with JEFF that blaming the security agencies is not going to solve our problem.

Its impossible to stop them all the time, but its also definitely possible to stop them happening every second month.

India's intelligence record is appalling, its public safety record is even worse.

But I guess Indian society itself is in a state of flux, so there are "a million mutinies" occurring at the moment...

Unknown Islamic group threatens more blasts in tourist India

JAIPUR, India (AFP) — A previously-unknown Islamic group claimed responsibility for a string of bombings that killed 63 people and warned of more attacks on Indian tourist targets, officials said Thursday.

Gulab Chand Kataria, home minister of the northern state of Rajasthan of which Jaipur is the capital, told AFP police were investigating the claim made in a video clip emailed to several media organisations.

The "Indian Mujahideen is waging an open war against the country for supporting the United States and the United Kingdom on international issues," the email said.

"India should stop supporting the United States ... and if you do continue then get ready to face more attacks at other important tourist places," it warned.

Kataria added that the clip also showed a few seconds of a bicycle purportedly packed with explosives which was later set off at one of the eight blast locations in Jaipur.

"It's a post-dated email and it was sent after the attacks claiming 'we did it' and we are trying to verify whether it is the source or a false claim," Jaipur police chief Pankaj Singh told AFP.

Police said the email was sent from a Internet cafe in Sahibabad town, close to New Delhi, and added the account was created Wednesday, using the British domain of Yahoo!

Sahibabad detectives detained the owner of the cafe for questioning on Thursday.

Muslim quarters in Jaipur meanwhile remained shuttered as Rajasthan's ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party called a dawn-to-dusk protest strike and police extended a curfew for the second straight day.

The lanes on either side of a Hindu temple which India's ruling Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi visited Thursday were largely deserted.

Doors were bolted and strangers had to knock to be let in -- something that residents say almost never happens here.

"The doors on this street are usually open till one in the morning," said Shaheen Sazid, 30. "But everyone is afraid. The kid are not sleeping."

Sazid's house, like many in this city, is in mourning -- one of her nieces is in hospital. Another was buried Wednesday.

The two sisters, 12-year-old Irma and 14-year-old Alina Maruf, had gone to buy yoghurt when a bomb went off in front of the temple a few doors from their home.

The bombs, planted on bicycles, went off Tuesday night over a span of just 12 minutes at crowded markets and close to several Hindu temples in the city, 260 kilometres (160 miles) west of the Indian capital

Some 216 people were wounded in what police said was the first "terror" attack in the Rajasthan state capital.

About 200 people have been detained for questioning, police said. Among them were one of the wounded and a rickshaw puller.

State chief minister Vasundhara Raje said two suspects had been arrested and that explosives and ammonium nitrate mixed with steel balls were wired to timing devices and detonated at the blast sites.

Detectives released a sketch on Wednesday night of a suspect that they wanted to interview.

India's junior home minister Shriprakash Jaiswal told reporters "the people responsible for these attacks have foreign connections," without naming Pakistan.

Pakistan-based Islamic militants fighting against Indian rule in Kashmir are usually blamed for such attacks which have plagued India for years.

Police in India have issued a sketch of a man whom they want to question in connection with one of the attacks that hit the city of Jaipur this week.

Police believe the man owned a bicycle used to plant one of the bombs. The motive for the attack remains unclear and no arrests have been made.

"We have arrested two people and have detained several (more) people for questioning," Vasundhara Raje told a press conference.

it's the indian media that blames the ISI for a leaf falling off a tree, like the ISI is some bhoot or evil spirit that cannot be caught. don't bother posting crap, the pakistan media barely blamed india for the blasts in pakistan. throughout the entire year and even now, they blame Musharraf and the army.

We get killed on a monthly basis from these bombs. We are appalled about that and the lack of sympathy from any other nation over all that as well.

Of course we're sorry for the loss of innocent lives, but would be sorrier if we allowed some incompetent investigators to run away with a false story. Stop lying about who the real bombers are and we'll start feeling sorry for the real victims.

I totally agree with you, no one showed any sympathy for us, certainly not indians. Although I don't go screaming around like a conspiracy theorist, I've realized people don't show any sympathy for us because we are muslim.

we were facing bomb blasts every week, no one gave a dam. some people are now killed in a bomb blast, now the entire world shows sympathy for india. it kind of reminds us of how the Prophet mentioned that the many nations will cooperate on destroying us like we're nothing.

again, i don't mean anything hurtful here. my family used to live in rajasthan and we are very saddened by the acts committed against such a peaceful people. My condolences to those families who have lost someone.

^^^Yaar, it depends on how often these things happen.

If people are massacred in Darfur, for the first month, there is huge outcry. If it continues for a year, people kinda say "yeah....its darfur....these things happen".

The cold fact is, that bomb blasts are happening too often in Pakistan for anyone to be surprised any more.

Remember the reaction when the Lal Masjid and Bhutto blasts happened? That was new stuff...now its old.

Jaipur blasts: Indian Mujahideen claim responsibility ​

Jaipur/New Delhi, May 15: Even as intelligence agencies grope for clues to crack the Jaipur serial blasts case, a little-known terror outfit, Indian Mujahideen, has claimed responsibility for the deadly act of terror. Besides explaining the motive behind the act, the email also contained video which the outfit claims to be the actual footage of the bombs moments before they exploded to kill more than sixty innocent people.

"We are examining the authenticity of the video and the claim at the moment," Pankaj Singh, a senior police officer said. In the meanwhile a cyber café owner from Sahibabad bordering Delhi was picked up early Thursday for questioning as the mail was traced back to his café.

Explaining the motive, the email mentions that the blast was meant to destroy Jaipur’s booming tourism industry. It further said that the blasts were in retaliation to the persecution of Muslim youth in the country.

The email also sent out a stern warning to L K Advani, Narendra Modi and Bal Thackeray. The group even demanded that India stop supporting USA in the international arena.

They also claimed responsibility for last year’s serial bomb blasts in UP.

Interestingly, as in the UP blasts, the email was sent from an internet cafe in New Delhi’s Shakarpur locality half an hour before the explosives went off in Varanasi, Faizabad and Lucknow.

The ID used this time was marginally different.

While the ID used while plotting the UP blasts was "[email protected]", this time the ID used was "[email protected]". Tuesday’s mail came with three attachments of videos showing the cycles strapped with bags that apparently contained the bombs.

In the video the Mujahideen claim that the cycle was the one that was used for the explosion at Kotwali near Choti Chaupad.

The development would for sure get the investigators focus more closely on the involvement of HuJI (Harkat-ul-Jehad-Al-Islami), a Deobandi outfit which has grown beyond its base in Bangaldesh to strike Indian cities at will.

The choice of the tag Indian Mujahideen also ties in with efforts to camouflage the foreign roots of Jihadi terror and present it as a home-grown phenomenon.

Like in the earlier instance, Indian Mujahideen threatened an "open war against India" unless the country stopped supporting the US and UK on international issues.
