MOD to HAL: Build Tejas Mk.2 With Export In Mind

:bounce:

you can keep talking, we will keep working.

Now thats rude, I just agreed with what you said

Peaceful.

That is Mumbai not Shanghai. Stop your dreaming.

I can not judge something that is a mockup to indicate progress. When the AMCA flies then I will gladly reevaluate.

Neither can I but all planes start of as exact models which are used in wind tunnels to obtain their shape and how they react to change in pressure, alongside putting the design into super computers for further research and also composites this is where LCA begins to pay off.

NEVER Knew IIT's have Wind Tunnel's

let's assume that india now acquired some tech to build such tunnel. it is cool.
now, show me the testbed for LCA's engines and control system.

let me give you more details: such testbeds are usually modified from other proven aircrafts, e.g. our J-8II ACT is used as the testbed for J-10's control system. we bought a IL-76, modified it to test the radar of J-10/J-11BS, we modified another IL-76 to become an engine testbed.

now show me what got for LCA

@ peaceful
Oh, r you the same guy who is writing in every LCA thread about testbed and Wind tunnel without looking at the reply that you are getting. Buddy without that how come a fighter jet even be design. Even if you say that everything is built by foreign companies, which you should prove with some facts, the fact is still there that the fighter was designed by us and hence some wind tunnel experiments must have been done.

Also even if these things are made by others still we need to have a testbed to integrate and test them all. Now how can you even imagine that something like this can happen ?? Things that you are suggesting would imply that either India is doing a license production of LCA (but there is no similar fighter jet in the world and don't tell me it looks like mirage) or LCA should not have been a reality. But i think both the points are wrong.

When the guy showed you wind tunnel model of a plane of 1960s you couldn't make out that by 2011 there would have been a lot of change ?/ I don't think you are so dumb as you appear to be. You are just not ready to accept the fact. You guys don't even have designed a single fighter jet. You purchase the whole design then you even do reverse engineering as the whole design isn't enough for you.

Then you also look for engines and avionics in Europe and Israel and you think you are allowed to do this and call all of them as reverse engineering. Have you guys built anything yet or just doing reverse engineering of whatever crap you get from ex-USSR states.

And yeah i forgot about your so called friend to whom you are selling your fighter jets and congrats on that...

LCA's Engine Testbed, IL 76 and Control Systems Testbed were LCA TD-1, BAE sim and F-16 Sim....And India had Wind Tunnels from 1950's... HF-24 marut was tested in NAL...
