Pray for people in Chair lift in batgram

@Jango i wasn’t bashing them out of hate. I am looking at twitter and I see lack of planning by them.

Locals are able to rescue the trapped children, why is army personnel not following the rescue plan?

I hope I am wrong but I do expect the generals to show their true colors. This country is their playground and Pakistani awam are animals who are getting out of line.

That's not going to happen. These aren't exactly skycrane helicopters. If they could handle it they'd just send down a rope with 6 slings on it and grab them all at once.
i would just tie the rope on the whole lift carriage and cut off the other cable and then airlift everybody at once. but i dont know if copter can carry that much weight or rope can hold it.
Sling Load mid-Air is virtually impossible The cable car will bounce once the suspension cable was cut mid-air because of the weight attached to the cable car. We were warning about doing this when I was doing my air assault course (you have to learn how to sling load) you need to lift that load off square form the ground, any hitch up and down will either tore off the sling or worse, drag the helicopter down

They are doing the right thing by lifting each peeps off that car.

Looks like they failed to plan a simple rescue mission. If the reports are correct, locals were stopped from helping in the beginning and now at night lovals have resorted to self help.

For the blind at heart - huge lesson in this failed rescue attempt by the army.

Another team of the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) is on the way to the Allai tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Battagram where six schoolchildren are among eight people stuck in a cable car after two of its wires snapped early morning on Tuesday.
To do what exactly?

Just because they are SSG does not mean they can be utilized in this role.

Social media is full of accounts quoting locals that they were stopped from sending in their own experienced people to perform the rescue because the Fauj wanted their photo-op, and at the end of the day the Fauj is also having to use locals to actually perform the rescue. A lot of hours were lost because the Fauj wanted to act like heroes.

Yet more Fauji BS.

Forces are heroes…..generals and that plastic b1tch will try n get limelight

Lol the khaki creatures are good enough for photo op.

rescue still going on by locals
2 were rescued by helicopter , rest are being rescued by locals

The real heroes, not those who only did stunts and wasted whole day.

Lol neither the first nor the last time failure from creatures made only to lose.

From a quick twitter scroll I am able to gather that these kind of incidents happen and locals have rescued people in the past. Instead of taking advice of bloody civilians they came up with their own rescue plan with 0 back up. In the end , locals are leading the mission.

Mediocrity breeds mediocrity.

When zillat is written, your every action will lead you towards it. For generals and the entire institution it’s zillat and nothing else.

Well done Pakistan Army :pakistan:

They are trying but its very high risk operation bcz when heli comes close the chair lift starts swinging due to air flow.

Z-9 has half the diameter of rotor than of Mi-17. Good choice of heli.

As mentioned before, the locals were more experienced in this rescue, as now everyone is aware, but they were stopped for doing anything, while the agriculture department tried in vain to score some points starting from 7AM in the morning, and finally gave up.
