What's new

IMF is not willing to sign the contract without the opposition party.

So that means no loan for Pakistani awam. PTI would rather watch their country burn than to be on a discussion table to settle for a amicable solution.
There's no amicable solution. These crooks are not legitimate. They bought members to form government. They paid millions of rupees to buy loyalty. So they must resign, dissolve the parliament and hold elections.

PTI must no sit with them. The army which brought these thieves must now realize where legitimacy lies.

Is PTI have taken Pakistan at the verge of the default from last 8 months?? Who is singing in the news conferences every day to hold the fair elections so country can get stability???? Pakistan is dowsed in the petrol by our loving crap generals who want respect and you are blaming PTI for that?
When Islamic republic of Pakistan brave soldiers won't have monthly pay cheques and generals are going to be dragged out of their homes for their deeds then Pakistan will be reset on the right course.
Some generals need to be dragged on streets along with some judges. Pakistan needs a hard reset.

I think we should forget about the recovery of the money and right it off like bad debts instead of wasting more time and money on these worms. The only think I want is fair trail for all these looters, corrupt mafia of politicians, generals and judges. As we all know its not possible in Pakistan then Pakistan air corps newly acquired anticraft guns must be given a chance for the target practice like North Korean leader did.
Every passing minute, hour and day our country is sinking more and more and these Haram khoors are giving speeches with straight faces.

Beautiful... I support PTI decision to burn down the corrupt failed banana republic of Pakistan.... No pain.. no gain. Revolution.

It's IMF that wants all parties on board as stakeholders. In my opinion, it's a very reasonable request.

Why?.. let it burn. IMF not provided loans is a blessing

Fear Allah. Not IMF.

IMF has been bitten 22 times before when Pakistani govt made promises to reform to get the loan and then renege.
IMF wants every party to agree to the reforms or no loan.
IMF is applying the same tactics as FATF.

This is because laton kay bhoot baton say nahi mantay. Old habits of changing course mid-stream die hard. They know how fickle our governments are.

So some really bitter pills but also necessary for all Pakistani governments and parties.

Also puts PTI on caution. They all have skin in the game now.

Let's fear Allah sitting in Canada while Pakistan goes to the dogs. Nice! :-)

Calls for a bloody revolution by expats sitting outside in the smug security of Canada aren't very apt.

No PTI approval no funds. Because PDM has no democratic status to sign these IMF loan documents. And IMF wants PTI written approval as the one and only opposition party.

It is time that PTI proves its patriotic credentials.

Good relations with india..back off china. More transparency on nukes or rolling back the program

Good relations with India - No way.

Back off China - May be if the price is right.

Nukes - Not Negotiable

Pakistan to pay back $100 bn to China by 2024

By Obaid Abrar Khan
September 29, 2017

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has to payback $100 billion to China by 2024 of total investment of $18.5 billion, which China has invested on account of banks’ loan in 19 early harvest projects mostly relating to energy sector under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The sources in Chinese Embassy told ‘The News’ that loans which China had given to Pakistan were considered as concessional loans, having special subsidy from the Chinese government. These loans are not the burden on Pakistan economy, as these constitute only 1.1 percent of total Pakistan foreign debt.
The sources said that Chinese financial assistance to Pakistan made a big contribution in strengthening Pakistan’s economy. Four years back GDP of Pakistan was 3.6 but now it reached 5.2, this reflected the fact that CPEC has played a major role in the economy of the country,” sources added.
Embassy’s sources further said that Chinese companies working in Pakistan has taken loans from Chinese banks for different development projects under CPEC and these companies are responsible for paying back loans not the Pakistani government.
The sources further said that China is also providing free assistance to some high-profile projects like construction of Gwadar Port, motorway linking Gwadar Port, schools and emergency health care centers etc. In future, China has planned to build more emergency healthcare centers in different parts of the country.
So far there are around 20,000 Pakistani students getting education in China. A large number of them are on Chinese government scholarships. CPEC also contributed in overcoming unemployment problem in Pakistan. As many as 60,000 Pakistanis got jobs in CPEC-related projects and 24,000 people got direct employment in different projects of CPEC. The sources said that in the next phase, china will focus to build industrial parks, which will bring not only Chinese but also other countries’ investment to Pakistan.

War with China is about to start.

If we can buy some time, we can just default on all the Chinese loans as China will be heavily sanctioned by the West like they did to Russia.

Frankly speaking, Good relations with india is beneficial for pak and india both. Honestly China is sketchy lol.
Yeah no compromise on nuclear program, that belongs to the people of Pakistan, not establishment or politicians.

No its time for PDM to show how competent they really are. Dont drag PTI into this sh!tshow of PDM.
PTI proved their competence/patriotism in last governance.

I am sure IMF saying that they need PTI to sign is just an excuse.

IMF clearly knows that PTI and IK are anti-IMF and a U-turn party.

No one beleives a word that IK says.

please stop talking rubbish if you really are Pakistani then ask this person how a loan of 18.5 billion turns into a repayment of 100 billion in 2024 when the jahli imam and his chor tola was telling people something entirely different.

Chinese debt to Pakistan in total is 30 billion, it stood at $25.1 billion in February 2022, up by $4.6 billion by September 2022.

how the eff does Pakistan owe back a repayment of 100 billion dollars by 2024?

something is seriously wrong somewhere

I get you. But its been 75 years 3 wars with India still no solution of Kashmir. No govs except PTI was somewhat serious about Kashmir and Kashmir conflict is Pak and India army bread and butter.
Resolve Kashmir and both countries have no use of their armies. So i don’t think they would want it resolved.
