'Very difficult' to oust Russia from Ukraine in 2023 - top U.S. general Milley

Chance of Trump win 2024 is near zero, you just need to look at Mid-Term 2022, and then the debacle of House Speaker vote, Trump brand is gone and has been since 2020. Everybody know it but Trump.

On the other hand, US already pledged support post 2024, and if they are going to pass the other bill that secure that 45 bil lodged last December passed both house (Definitely Senate, highly likely Congress) then US support to Ukraine would remain at least until 2026. With or Without Biden in power.

This is a bit too optimistic IMO. As we saw with the Speaker election in the House, there is going to be drama on funding coming up later this year with regards to Ukraine Funding. I would not underestimate Trump after what happened in 2016, and Trumpism seems to be currently the dominant faction within the Republican party currently.

The GOP knows Trump is bad juju, I mean when Newsmax and Fox start trashing Trump, you know it's the end.

It's hard to get over the fact that the "Red Tsunami" didn't materialised simply because of Trump. And now you have the like of George Santos, that dude that shot up the NM legislator house, people are going to associate Trump with bad news. GOP knows if they keep endorsing Trump, they will lose 2024.

People aren't really stupid you know??

incidentally they don't have power but they can still make Youtube Video??
Way more Ukrainians who don't have power, heating , runninng water... than Russians

And on the other hand, Russia goes from being G-8 and G-20 to the world no longer needed Russia
China is not that so called G-7 as well, do we care? loL, Who needs Russia? we need it, and we are the world biggest trader, many countries also need Russia, Russia is the single biggest resources rich country in the world, all humans need natural resources.

so?

First of all, does that really mean anything?? Do you think Russian soldier in th Ukrainian frontline have, power heating and running water too? That's just create a mis-interject making the soldier think Russian has abandoned them over there. That's bad for fighting spirit.

Second of all, it was Russia who start this war, whatever they have gone thru is self-inflicted. Compared to the mindset of Ukrainian, which they were drag into defending their own home. That's the different.

And finally, if Ukrainian want, they can have a nice R&R in Poland, Germany or even the UK, and then come back and fight in Ukraine, what Russia have? Beans??

I expect no soldiers having them in the front line fighting in any wars, it's common sense. you know I was talking about civilians, not front line troops, don't you?

Russians have Russia.

This is a replay of WW1 on a much smaller scale. The trench war is a sign of a stalemate. This conflict will have to be resolved by an armistice or reaching some agreement.

Ukraine asked for it! why didn't Russia fight any other former Soviet Republics? Ukraine brought this disaster to itself.

I am saying it zap the morale of soldier in the frontline knowing they can be at home enjoying all these. This is how I felt when I was in Iraq and Afghanistan shitting into a K-Rat box.

Whatever the Russian suffer is self inflicted. And it's different than Ukrainian because that was done to them by the Russian, Which make the morale factor very much different between a Ukrainian soldier and Russian Soldier. It's pointless to talk about civilian in war.

Russians have Russia.
I don't see Ukraine being completely occupied by Russia.

This US general was basically saying that he believes Ukraine is a lost cause.

That’s not what he said at all. He said it’s unlikely Ukraine will be able to regain ALL its territory this year, but with the new armor sent in the last two packages, Ukraine will be able to retake more territory this year at an operational level.

In other words, Ukraine will be able to make more progress this year in liberating its territory.

Are you for real?

Moldova, Georgia, Tajikistan, Transnistria and Republic of Abkhazia would want to have a word with you.

And what you are saying is like a rapist pointing to a girl he rape and said "She asked for it because she wear a miniskirt, why I didn't rape other ugly chick wearing pants?" Dude, I would like to know what kind of logic you are operating on.

We never know whose morale is better, so don't just take anything for granted.

Russians invaded them and took their lands? maybe that's what your media told you.

Lol, really, we'll see what "progress" Ukraine is going to make.

lol, I would say if you have to recruit from Prison and insane asylum, your morale is pretty much very low at this point.

Russians invaded them and took their lands? maybe that's what your media told you.
Lol..So are you telling me there were no Russian Troop in Transnistria? Or There are no Russian troop in South Ossetia??

Sure, those "war" is just Russian army lost their way into these country during vacation, they weren't there to invade and take land from those country.......Maybe that's what your media told you??
