Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Adnan Malik also highlighted the powerful parallels of sending a strong woman to meet a govt that denies women rights.

The Taliban government in Afghanistan is notorious for its treatment of women and its denial of women’s rights. Which is why the arrival of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar for talks with the government proved to be such a power move. Netizens cannot help but root for Khar, deeming it a boss move to have a woman represent Pakistan, especially before a government like this.

On Tuesday, Khar concluded her one-day trip to Kabul where she held wide-ranging talks with Afghan Taliban leadership on security issues and economic cooperation. Leading a high-level delegation, she is the first minister to travel to the Afghan capital since the government of PM Shehbaz Sharif took over in April.
Videos and photos from Khar’s trip are doing rounds on social media and collecting appreciation all around. Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and actor Adnan Malik re-shared them and highlighted the powerful parallels between the representatives.

This is the Most Powerful Image of 2022 I believe, and speaks well for Pakistan, women's achievement in Pakistan and such a powerful, well educated women literally representing the 5th largest populated country and a nuke power on her own at the most scary place and people of current times, Afghanistan and Talibans. Well done!

Seems like the diplomacy didn't do well as they attacked again and killed 15 innocent people.

Reminds me of Queen`s visit to Saudi Arabia.

What projection? She is a feudal and a corrupt senseless puppet. I can imagine the jokes talins would have made behind her lolz.

well they must’ve been happy to see her until she came out all covered up like that, lolz

She is a big part and beneficiary of the corrupt feudal system. Gets elected each time yet has only drained Pak govt coffers.

Going to a shithole country when you could’ve achieved whatever over a phone/video call…….wastage of taxpayer money as usual and social media dumb fucks thinking of it as an achievement for women.

No wonder thr country is morally and financially bankrupt. Now living on borrowed time……but these rich corrupt MNA’s and all mafias

The only shitty stuff they have is in their personal/private lives…..failures….zero loyalty….can’t find respect or reliable spouses cuz its all about the money

How our country has fallen from grace into this bottomless cesspool of filth

Good for photo ops and we shouldn't challenge the cultural values of Afghan society. ,,,, but what is the outcome of the meeting? Instead ISI chief should go or Hina should go with ISI chief, at least they have all the regional information.
Due to cultural challenges, important hardcore religious govt officials refused to talk to her. A waste of time. May be a big yes in the West and liberal society, but again what is the outcome.... that is more important because everyday Pakistanis are dying on the border.
