New US chip export controls wreaking havoc on Chinas chip industry and causing industry wide decapitation

I told u Biden is a mole working for Xi.
Great job Biden. :enjoy:

Heh it's a decapitation alright. Future US chip growth has been decapitated.
Is it true that American engineers working for Chinese semicon companies had to stop working?

I think China should really consider finding replacements for Windows and Android.

It's just a matter of time before they will also be banned.

In just a single night, China will not be allowed to sell PC, laptops, and smartphones.

Biden and Trump are the same, it's not them who planned it, but the deep state.

Biden and Trump follow what they are told to do and execute as a president.

But the difference between Biden and Trump, Trump is still able to use his judgment to reject it, and that's why he is hated and should be disposed of.

Is it true that Americunts lost access to the world's largest semiconductor market?

Beijing Naura Microelectronics Technology Co., China's biggest semiconductor production equipment maker, this week asked its U.S. engineers to stop working on research and development projects. The company made the move in compliance with recent restrictions imposed by the U.S. government on the Chinese high-tech sector,...

Not only that, Chinese who held US citizenship risk losing their citizenship should they chose to remain working for China.

I heard Intel is firing its employees. For semiconductor engineers, being a poor and jobless American citizen or being a rich non-American is not a hard choice.

Micron is investing $100b over the next 20 yrs in the US. Intel and everyone is experiencing a downturn cycle aggravated by COVID. You over in China can console yourselves by posting as much negative news about US as you can find, but overall, semicon is returning to the US, helped by some of your government officials talking about seizing foreign owned assets.

Outside the immediate damage from the sanctions, I think it's a loss for the American/West in the eyes of the rest of the world.
Because it's an admission that the Chinese have caught up, that the West is unable to compete honestly so thay have to use underhand methods to cripple China, that the Western narrative of freedom and democracy is applicable only as long as other races don't catch up to them.
But surviving nations can already remember parallels where Western nations used underhand methods to destroy competition and impose their industry and systems. Unfortunately, some nations couldn't survive such immoral tactics ( eg Plains Indians practically went extinct after the Buffalo herds were deliberately exterminated for that exact purpose).

I am pretty sure the Chinese Intelligence is behind this decision! Why? Now, all of these sophisticated equipment will be left unchecked. It's like leaving chicken to the care of the foxes! They'll dissect and replicate them causing an extremely high loss to the OEMs....

Don't forget the Chinese are the masters of the industrial espionage and emulating....

It's not just me. TSMC founder Morris Chang for many times showed his pessimistic attitude toward building fabs in US. Semiconductor industry concentrating in East Asia is for good reasons. US government's efforts will fail miserably.
