In my opinion this 6 day decision time was the worst thing IK could do. People will not come back again in masses as they did this time.
I dont know who the hell advises IK so poorly.
Get comfortable with years of present govt now. What they didn't do in months will not do in 6 days.

This overseas Pakistani votes is a misnomer, bit unclear and vague.
The overseas Pakistanis working in Qatar, Saudia, UAE and all middle eastern countries, world over where they don't offer any citizenship or any immigrant status have the Pakistani passport with them, and with just the working permit, Iqama or anything related.
They are fully eligible to vote, isn't it. Like is there any facility for them to vote in the elections at Pak embassy or online, or they have to visit Pakistan to caste vote in their respective constituency and city.
The overseas Pakistanis with a passport other than of Pakistan is a separate issue, India doesn't allow dual nationality, unlike Pakistanis who can keep NICOP.

Its simple logic sir , if you dual nationality how are you supposed to be loyal to your own nation ?
Plus if a person has dual nationality and occupies a important position in administrative machinery , don't you think he or she might take part in actions inimical to the country at the behest of a foreign power ?

The optics of IK 6 day ultimatum are not good. I mentioned elsewhere in this thread that this dysfunctional government will declare victory and they are doing just that. Further, whomever has convinced IK to back down by giving some sort of a guarantee will IMHO backfire on IK and PTI.
I don't trust this government of chors and dakus at all. They have been given a lifeline which they didn't have until a few hours ago.
They have already started the gerrymandering/ rigging process by overturning the election reforms of PTI government especially use of EVM and voting rights for overseas Pakistanis but they will take their $$$ with open arms.
IK had mobilised the nation with his narrative and huge jalsas and right at the moment of truth he comes up with a deflating decision. People will now think twice before leaving everything for his next clarion call. Yes his core support is intact but I'm not sure if its going to be the same ever again.

It has both pros and cons...and quite difficult to measure loyalty. And US, Australia, Canada, many developed countries offer dual nationality.

I take it back since I am obviously not privy to some facts.
Turns out that there is a court order not to go outside the allowed places.
