What's new

Brown bears attacked Chinese PLA's border outposts in Tibet

They are probably hungry.

They smell food and are searching for them.

Thank goodness. The PLA soldiers are well trained, discipline and did not killed any one of them.
PLA unleashed dogs to chase them away, like what US always does around the world especially in Europe.

There are bears in Tibet? I thought there were only antelopes and cattle in that damn place.

PLA should've recruited the bears into their ranks like that Polish unit in WW2. Then bring them along border patrols at the LAC. ;)

Tibet is infested with bears, increasing human bear conflicts are becoming a major problem in Tibet, every local household has to put long sharp spikes on their doors and fences to deter bears from coming in. But the government still keeps the strict protection law for bears, killing or hurting one is punishable by prison terms.

The environment in Tibet is really terrible.

I’m really glad to see that the bears weren’t shot but rather chased off by the dogs. China’s conversation efforts must be lauded.

Hey send 50 to Deosai, we would treat them well :)

the animals are hungry, they eat plastic, Pakistans environment is also in terrible condition if the humanity keeps on with this path, then there will no light at the end of the tunnel.
