Featured India Uncovered its secret "GHATAK" drone: Stealth deep strike capable

It’s likely that the India’s offset for the rafale included assistance on this project, looks quite similar to the Dassault nEUROn.

If nigeria could have built one by now why hasn't Pakistan built one, I thought they were more advanced than India in drone and ucav tech
Because they already have far better Chinese drones with proven combat history in Middle East

Every ucav looks quite similar

This is roughly 2m x 1.5m. You can see the person standing about 10m to 15m away in the background and the human is that large.

This thing is a scale model of a model and there's not even close to prototyping. If the end engine is to be Manik engine, the the intended final size of this drone is TINY. Maybe 5m x 4m at most. And it would be doubtful it can carry much if any weapons.

Basically what this actually is is an RCS X-47B. Are some bhakts this stupid? This is worse than the Qaher 313 as a project just to make some people believe in something. At least Qaher 313 scaled model actually flown.

If this is just for testing a model, then what's impressive about a model doing a taxi test. A model, not a prototype.

This Ghatak is nowhere even near prototyping. Are they seriously going to use one Manik engine to power the final product? It would be ridiculously underpowered.

Well Pakistan was developing its own drone according to this guy

The prototype is 4*5m

No, the end engine is supposed to be kaveri engine with thrust of 52 kn

You dont seem to have done any research at all. This is SWIFT, a flying testbed to validate tech for the Ghatak stealth UCAV. A couple Swift will be made, and then when they complete testing it will go to Ghatak prototype, then LSP ,then IOC, then FOC and SP.

That's what I have said. This is a testbed in the form of a foam RCS aircraft with a RCS engine going a tax test. Not even airborne.

Then in years to decades to be made into a prototype to evaluate and be a testbed for the actual technologies because only then will it be the actual intended size.

Right now it is like a 1:10 scale model of the would be prototype. It is not even close to prototyping.

How can this thing be a testbed of anything except the aerodynamics.

It isn't testing the weapons systems because it is the size of a dining table right now as a 1:10 model.

It isn't testing the avionics and electronics for sensors because again those real things don't fit.

It isn't testing the engine. BTW to suggest Manik engine is going to power the final product means the final product is like 1/3 the size of GJ-11 which uses a non-afterburning WS-13 engine which is around 15 to 20 times more powerful than the Manik engine. So clearly either this drone is intended to be similar to a quadcopter in size and role so basically what it is now but with more powerful and heavier sensors than a quadcopter can use. Or it is not using Manik engine as its intended engine.

Lol what?

Foam RCS aircraft with RCS engine?

Decades? LSP to start in 2026, until now program has no delays even through covid.

1:10 model?

And who told you manik will power this? Manik is for cruise missiles, Ghatak will be powered by Kaveri.

Like I said, If you dont research at all, we cant help you.

Prokion said in this thread that manik engine is used for this but I guess he's referring to the testbed.

If they are using Kaveri eventually that makes more sense. Kaveri program has not finished development and India wants France to either complete Kaveri program for India or simply use M88 for everything that Kaveri was intended to be used for, where permitted.

So basically to summarize this program, it is at the 1:10 model testbed where even though none of the planned avionics are ready and being used on this testbed, they still pretend to have antennas everywhere despite it not even being a prototype. I don't know why they would put fake antennas on something that is a very small scaled "testbed" where the antennas required would still be unknown for the eventual prototype which isn't even developed. Also no idea what the purpose of taxiing test is for a testbed that is so scaled down to show off as if it's some sort of prototype which it is certainly not.

What India has here is a RC plane testing the aerodynamics, with no intended weapons suite or sensors suite developed at all... not even a prototype or even a flying testbed and Prokion is telling Pakistan to cry. Lol.

Dude, you are still unwilling to do any research, so Ill have to explain how you are wrong on all counts.

1)Kaveri is finished, no one is developing Kaveri further. French/British offer is for new, 110KN engine for AMCA.

2)Kaveri only has issues in afterburner phase, which is anyway bad for stealth airplanes.

3)Again, 1:10? It is close to 1:2.5 scale. Avionics, antennas, weapon bays, stealth characteristics, EW, other 5th gen tech.

4)Prototype is powered by russian 36 KN engine.

5)Again some random stuff about RC. Again, no idea how you can be that confused. Swift is flying testbed, its in the name. FT - Flying testbed.

Looks like a toy. Why would you even reveal this super duper "secret project" before the thing can even fly?
Testbed, aircraft LSP in 2026.

Well Pakistan was developing its own drone according to this
Well, that was a joke by UK origined Private company at defence expo. There is no ZF 1 viper project under Azm project.

Jokes aside Pakistani AWC has developed an indiginous armed drone Shahpar 2 which is also offered for export.Shahpar-II_UAV.jpg
SHAHPAR-II.jpg
Shahpar-II_UAV.jpg

This is our indeginous design.so plz don't say that this is Chinese copy.

. At least Qaher 313 scaled model actually flown.
No it did not.If you have video proof of Q313 flying, plz share.
why hasn't Pakistan built one
Pakistan has built armed drones.A true MALE UCAV is offered by PAC also.

Ghatak design requires full grip on FCS, you guys have good experience in FCS development of aircrafts. But we will also develop stealth UCAV insha Allah.

And one more thing, Indian projects take too much time to become mature enough to be inductable in military so we once finish these projects, will move for wing design UCAVs that can take on Defence systems.
