Asharq Al-Awsat

The Saudi-led Ara coalition announced on Tuesday the launch of an operation on all Yemeni fronts to liberate the country from the Iran-backed Houthi militias.

Speaking from the Yemeni province of Shabwa, coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki said: "We are carrying out military operations to liberate Yemen and we call on all Yemenis to rally around their political leadership."

The Yemeni government had declared on Tuesday that it had liberated Shabwa from the Houthis.

Malki also hailed the role of the United Arab Emirates in the coalition.

The spokesman hailed the liberation of Shabwa, crediting the success to the Yemenis uniting to achieve that goal.

Without Iran's backing Houthies would fall within months, them resisting the Arabs for so long indicate there is a strong support from Iran and other countries to them, I wish that the innocent civilians of Yemen and their suffering are not for long, they have suffered enough already like Syrians, Muslim world needs to get their stuff together and make peace with each other for the sake of its people.

Does it mean Saudis and Emiratis convinced Iranians shedding their support to Houthis?

there were meetings going on between UAE and KSA with Iran. if it is so, what kind of deal it can be.

Bro, they've done well in Syria, Iraq and have a hold of Lebanon by the balls, they've done far more with less than the Arabs as a whole.

Everywhere they set foot on has been counter invaded example Syria it is been counter invaded by Turkey and The US who hold good junk and the same in Iraq again Turkey and the US.. Getting hammered in Yemen by Saudis while Lebanon has gone bankrupt and not even in the government just none-state actors who are not the state actors.... Everywhere they go trouble is brought after them:lol: Let them set foot upon somewhere else we will bring trouble and destroy it even if it is on the moon we will destablize it just watch.. These terrorists will be hunted.. Example look how these in Bahrain got crushed...

At the end of the day it's not Iranian mainland getting wrecked. They've taken the fight else-where to be fought.
A point even our General's could've learned properly, but there "minimum deterrence" mindset can only do so much.

But it is countries where they have majority support and notice nothing follows countries where there is no supporters of theirs.. If the population tilt's towards them that is when cough we cough! destablize it. The Expandables should be disregarded..

Yep they are, Question arise that because of the Iran proxies only country that benefitted is Israel as one after another Arab countries are down falling into chaos, am i reading too much ? or there is some reality to it, cause it always boggles my mind as Iran and Israel issue statements against each other, but if they both consider each other as existential threat then why no one has made a move ?
