Yes since there is no M1A2.. and besides..the M1A1 is made under licence in Egypt, 97% of the components are Locally made not just assembled..And the K2 is a purely SK design and one of the best out there in par with the M1A3 and the latest Leopard..

You are talking about a 1 million men professional armed forces.. if logistics was a problem the leaders would have known better..wouldn't they.. there is also a need to replace the old tanks in thousands..So logistics will just be transferred and upgraded..
