In the upcoming joint excise Anatolian Eagle 2021 in Turkey, the Pakistan Air Force is participating with it's home produced JF-17 Thunder aircraft. While the host Turkey will field it's Vipers and Qatar will participate with it's newly inducted Rafale jets.
This will probably first time the JF-17s will pitch against the French jets.

Will be very interested in the results.

Do you think they'll release the results publicly if they are not favorable?

Either way, PAF like a true professional, never discloses anything from these exercises.

Simulated Meteor Fox 2 from Qatar Rafaels ?

Usually, they do not turn on ECM for exercise. So regards to state of art electronic from each individual are still unknown.

The only thing can see from each other are the agility and flight capabilities of each fighter.

They will have to simulate Block 3s.

A treasure trove in the form of data of these exercises is about to fall in PAF's lap. Nothing value more. Sending Thunders to such exercise by PAF itself speaks volumes about the confidence they have on their own fighter.

Can u tell which block will participate. Is it block II or jf 17b
Apparently 5 X JF-17s have departed to participate in the exercise.

We have to send F-16s also to test them against Rafales.
2nd, are Qatari Rafales equipped with meteor missiles or not?
If not why.

Five JF-17s from No 16 ''Black Panther'' Squadron are participating. I guess they will be Block II.
