Automatically ban Indians for posting from fake news sites

Why ban Indians only? Why not anyone else who posts fake news?

When it is time to bash India, the same Indian News agencies become a medium of choice but bad when they have anything against Pakistan. I have seen quite a few FMs protesting on this thread, sharing multiple links of Indian media that had something negative about India. Same media becomes fake when it has something against Pakistan.

Or make a list of media and post it here, that these XYZ media are acceptable and others are not. Thereafter, accept everything from these selected media. Even those news articles that are critical of Pakistan.

Or ban them completely. No news from any Indian media at all. But no that wouldn’t sound good to quite a few people. Because that is the primary source for bashing India when it is convenient.

As of now it seems to be a matter of convenience and what sounds good to the majority here.

how is a person going to make such a lengthy list? India makes 100s of propaganda websites and fake NGOs every year. you didnt read the latest EU Disinformation Lab report?

My problem is not with mainstream Indian media, or even reputable bloggers etc, but there is a clear distinction between real news sources and fake news sources that only the gullible or the imbecile cannot distinguish between.

Anyone else citing these sources is trolling.

Sure, there are fake news sources but mainstream ones like Republic and Aaj Tak are also sources of disinfo and lies.

good point. very few Indian media outlets are Godi media nowadays. but the catch is that some of the websites that are good for internal India matters are bad at external reporting (such as reporting on Pakistan's internal affairs). even the big youtubers like Akash Banarjee, Dhruv Rathee and others are pretty piss poor when they talk about Pakistan.

Read my posts.. I have no problem with people posting from legitimate Indian news agencies, apart from maybe that one with the shouting idiot Republic I think. My problem is when people are using clear cut fake news sites.

In my post I gave examples of Pakistani versions of those sites. Any topics with them as a source are routinely ridiculed and shut down.

As for why I'm specifying Indians.

1. The majority of Indian members we interact with are here with hostile designs and to troll.

2. India has been exposed as professionally organising anti Pakistani news.

3. Indian members routinely reference these sites. Talking to some of your compatriots is what it must feel like talking to people from North Korea.

you will.lose a lot from the forum.debate if you remove the other sides narrative.

it's good to compare and debate but with good evidence. I agree.

you will lose too much and PDF look at the wonderful pictures and news we share from aero.india. at least you can discuss what pakistan.needs to do to counter this .

While we are considering action on the guests from our friendly next door neighbor , could we also debate how to respond to the following?

1. Fake posts by guests from one other country in the sub-continent chest thumping economic, (interesting link) and cultural superiority over us.

2.Fake posts by guests above, accusing our armed forces of war crimes when no international war crimes courts, not even those of their "victorious allies" ever accepted, investigated or proved.

3. Repeated posts throwing a long forgotten Civil War in our face with the aim of showing superior military prowess both of their armed forces and their allies.

None of the above actions by our guests are with the intent of serious discussions but with the intent to troll, and insult our nation and our armed forces.

Well, I agree that :

1. PDF has been quite accommodating to Indian members. The reverse of BR and Dee Ef I Indian forums will not be accommodating to Pakistanis.

2. Comparing percentages, non-Muslim Indians will find travel in Pakistan not much of a trouble.

3. Currently, the hateful ones in India certainly are not accommodating for Pakistanis but you too know that the Indian music and film industry had been open to Pakistanis until an industry body decided to produce a diktat banning Pakistanis. Also, Fatima Bhutto ( and other Pakistani writers I think ) has come to India on more than one occasion.
