The King agreed to some money amount and in return, NS will be exiled to KSA. in 1999, Pakistan was still under sanctions from the nuclear tests, and the amount offered by KSA was big.

You have to give the sly ba$tard credit, the Saudis saved his sorry behind that time, this time the Qataris came running, although it didn't work, but they did try. Ultimately our compromised Judiciary came to his rescue.

Unfortunately, at the cost of the nation, it didn't happen.

We still got sanctioned, then 9/11 came, and we became major non-nato ally, and everything was good. HAD Musharraf done it, it would have been just a ripple in the ocean. Nonetheless, he choose not to, and history will blame him for it.

The problem here is that this corrupt politician who is a traitor to this country, looted this country, worked against the interest of this country specially during Kargil is allowed instead of being punished to leave this country at the command of a foreign ruler, not only that he comes back a decade later to loot this country again for another 5 years, all those who facilitated his escape from the rule of law including anyone in the army specially Pervaiz Musharraf is equally at fault, there should be no compromise against those who betray Pakistan, the fact that these Nawaz sheriffs, Altaf Hussain and Zardaris are allowed to walk away from the ultimate crime of betrayal they have committed against Pakistan is the reason why our power will never resonate across the regions even with all the power we have, it's because our head is divided, the Achilles heel of Pakistan is the division between the corrupt politicians, their families and parties and their puppets still remaining in the judiciary and elsewhere and the Army for not cleaning the mess when they had the chance.

The Kargil war was not lost at the summit of the mountains but in Islamabad and our soldier died because of it when they retreated.
