Why PA Officers are flying Mushaks?

1-Why do Pakistan Army officers fly planes (Mushak) as PAA has helicopters?
2-Pilot Selection process does not appear to be as rigorous as Paf?

For basic flight training it's is part of PAA rotary wing.

2-Pilot Selection process does not appear to be as rigorous as Paf?

It's rigorous on it's own.

3- How does officers choose to fly? I THOUGHT BEST ONES GO TO ARMOURED.....!

After X-numbers of service years people volunteer to join PAA,most pilot in PAA, at Captain level in PA take this path.

Simply put, since there is a Mashaq Squadron with each Corps, therefore, there ought to be army officers who know how to fly it. Seems logical.
