The workers seem very polite, it's a shame that they're getting fired for wanting to pray salah in a Muslim country.

I dont think its possible in any major industrial city ... Labor court will tear them apart ... However, in Gawadar they might be doing the same ...

Prayer and Ramadan timings are as per law and are secured under labor law ... Any complaint on this can bring heavy criminal charges on management

Thats in US subject to US laws, the above video is about a factory in Pakistan subject to Pakistani law.

If a Chinese company decides to invest in Pakistan, it's their business with the Pakistani governmnet, Chinese government doesn't usually involve in corporate disputes in China or abroad, it those companies violate Pakistani laws, kick them out, simple as that, Companies represent themselves, not the governments.

Wrong reference ... That was an industrial plant in USA...the video shows workers being fired in Chinese setup in Pakistan.

Great that should be approach of both of us ... i.e. Chinese and Pakistani ... Anything done by some individual or a company has nothing to do with the relationship between governments and nation ...

Chinese companies still lack experience in overseas operation, they should've researched and studied all factors before setting up factories, China is not the world, how they operate in China doesn't give them much reference when they move overseas, they'll learn it the hard way.

Chinese are atheist and don't believe in God. They have not being taught about cultural sensitivities of other nations. Stopping muslims from praying is incredibly antagonizing and inflammatory. This can spiral out of control.

I don't know what is up with chinese these days . First marriage scandals and now this. Do they deliberately want to create problems for themselves over here ?

China is homogeneous by nature..they should learn culture and sensitivities of other countries...and it seems their progress is getting to their head.

It's the media wants to create the trouble, some of your media is not China friendly, China never complains over those repeated terrorist attack on Chinese nationals and properties in Pakistan, becaude Chinese media always reports how brave Pakistanis tried to save Chinese in those attacks instead of reporting the loss and damages.

Its true i am also working in Chinese company as an Engineer, They will tell you; you should not do fasting in the month of Ramzan and they will not follow any time table. They don't follow any labour law. Our Govt and Army support them its shame for us. I cant tell you in detail on this forum, if you are interested how they behave with Pakistani and what they are doing here just send me Private message.
