KP Police introduces strong police system in tribal districts with 45,000 jawans deployment

ISLAMAVAD - In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, arrangements are being finalized to introduce regular policing in all seven tribal districts.

A spokesman of Police Department told our Peshawar correspondent that twenty-three thousand police personnel from existing police force will be deployed in tribal districts.

In addition, twenty-two thousand new police officers and jawans will be recruited.

The spokesman said levies and Khasadar force will also be merged with police after their proper training.

He said about one hundred police stations will be established across the tribal districts.

Great Initiative,but they should remember that without proper training and equipment these poor police personnel will become target practice for militants,like how our FC was targeted in the early days of War on terror,they should equip these personnel well so they can take on any adversary,This will help reduce pressure and burden from army to some extent,this way the army can shift few thousand soldiers from tribal areas to LOC/Eastern border.

Exactly !!! They have to be equipped like a Small Army. APC and MRAP and Anti Air Craft Machine Guns and RPG and Grenades and even Helicopters with a Machine Gun Guy in it.
