Joel Rosenberg meets the Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh on November 1.

In a new sign of growing ties between Israel and Saudi Arabia, the kingdom's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman hosted a delegation of Evangelical Christians on Thursday in Riyadh led by a prominent pro-Israel advocate who also lives in the Jewish state.

The group was led by Joel C. Rosenberg, an author and Evangelical activist who lives in Israel. Other participants included Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem. The timing of the meeting came as the Washington Post reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had asked senior members of the Trump administration to continue supporting Bin Salman despite the controversy surrounding his involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

According to the report, Netanyahu and other Middle East leaders like Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi argued that Bin Salman is "an important strategic partner in the region".

The delegation spoke to Bin Salman about Israel, the Palestinians as well as Saudi relations with the United States.

“We were pleased by the invitation extended to us more than two months ago by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," the delegation said in a statement. "Without question, this is a season of tremendous change in the Middle East, and therefore we have been grateful for the opportunity to meet in-person with key Arab leaders to understand their goals and to ask direct questions. We look forward to building upon these relationships and continuing the dialogue.”

During the visit, the delegation also met with the Saudi Foreign Minister; the Minister of Education; the Minister of Islamic Affairs; the Secretary General of “Etidal,” The Global Center for Combatting Extremist Ideology; and the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League.

HRH Crown Prince Meets with a Delegation of American Evangelical Christian Leaders, currently on a visit to the Kingdom as part of a tour of the region.

The group, led by New York Times best-selling author Joel C. Rosenberg, arrived in Riyadh from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), following similar historic meetings with government and religious leaders, both Muslim and Christian, earlier in the week.

Following the meeting in Riyadh, the delegation issued a joint statement:

“We were pleased by the invitation extended to us more than two months ago by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was a historic moment for the Saudi Crown Prince to openly welcome Evangelical Christian leaders to the Palace. We were encouraged by the candor of the two-hour conversation with him today. We discussed his ‘Vision 2030’ plan, the region, Islam and Christianity. Without question, this is a season of tremendous change in the Middle East, and therefore we have been grateful for the opportunity to meet in-person with key Arab leaders to understand their goals and to ask direct questions. We look forward to building upon these relationships and continuing the dialogue.”

During the visit, the delegation also met with the Saudi Foreign Minister; the Minister of Education; the Minister of Islamic Affairs; the Secretary General of “Etidal,” The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology; and the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League.

Members of the delegation to Saudi Arabia hosted by Rosenberg included former U.S. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann; Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, president and CEO of National Religious Broadcasters (NRB); Michael Little, former president and COO of The Christian Broadcasting Network; Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Jerusalem Prayer Team; Rev. Larry Ross Communications; Pastor Skip Heitzig, senior pastor of Calvary Albuquerque in New Mexico; and Wayne Pederson, former chairman and CEO of the NRB.

Please tell me he is not planning to open up a Church right next to Kaaba and Masjid Al Nabawi ?

Why not? Christianity and Islam have the same Abrahamic God. Actually, Christians worship an angel called Jesus Christ, not much the Abrahamic God. They also have a secret love for Lucifer who is brother of Jesus.

No harm in meeting a delegation of evangelical Christians. Inter-faith harmony is important for any society.

lucifer can never be light he is not fallen angel but a jinn made of smokeless fire.

Jews know very well about solomon temple those hidden books that's what they worship form power in return blood sacrifice. rabbis and thier evil talmudic book to create a nation of confused evil people. usury.

Wahabis and Evangelicals lmaoo

The perfect match

How many Christian Saudis live in KSA? How many churches?

this region is too savage, and that young MBS seems to have lost humanity all focused on proving his tough image (which we have enough of in the middle east).

Why not?... Didnt the Muslims go to Christian abyssinia to save themselves from the oppression of the meccans?

Both are abrahamic religions.

All Christians are pagan at heart, polytheists.

Then why are Muslims allowed to marry them?

Not my country ... Personally I would not like to build a church as Westerners are famous for fooling Muslims and the church will become a den for spies and trechary .
