What's new

Shot taken from Made in #Pakistan Satellite launched last week.

india developed the nukes in the seventies for welfare of mankind.:D
They are hypocrites...the named their test "smiling buddha"

For the welfare of Indian civilisation and armed with the knowledge that a weak country is vulnerable to exploitation by the likes of Britain as history clearly tells us.

Anyway, good for Pakistan. A step in the right direction.

It is first shot dear and need time to adjust and give true high resolution zoom pictures
Yeah, something is off, may be some adjustments are required in settings...which is normal.

There seems to be a confusion.

PRSS is a Chinese satellite sold to Pakistan. So surely there'll be better pictures released.

Made in Pak satellite is the PakTES.

Looks nice...

I suggest that Pakistan should have some nuclear missiles on their satellites.
Pardon us, we have enough of them on ground. We are here only planning to build infrastructure for our domestic needs.

Congrats to them anyway.

I really wish SUPARCO and ISRO initiate a common manned space program. Space has no boundaries.

In what way can SUPARCO assist ISRO in a manned space mission? Their space program is still in it's nascent stage and has been stagnant for a very long time. ISRO would be much better off partnering with CNSA as they actually have experience in putting humans into space and even keeping them alive for prolonged periods.

Anyway, ISRO isn't at the stage where it can help other nations develop their space programmes

A 1000 dollar question is what ISRO can learn from SUPARCO !

Agreed that India doesn't have the expertise at launching humans into space, though other than an Afghani, an Indian has been the only South Asian to be on a space station. And SUPARCO is still not able to launch its own satellites in the hundreds kilogram range ( @KapitaanAli , am I right?? )

Both countries starting from scratch together can happen. At present there are a handful of private organizations, like the American company called Launcher set up by the former CEO of the company LiveStream. Watch this vid to see a bit of how they learnt from scratch on how to build a satellite launcher rocket. Building a manned rocket is not too distant from that.

As Vorenus pointed out CNSA have the experience in launching humans but my bigger dream is seeing South/Central/West Asia+China+Russia+Africa+South America going to Mars together.

especially a hostile one like Pakistan.

Which is why I said that there are no boundaries in space.

Recall that song from the film 'Refugee' -

Panchi, Nadiya, Pavan ke jhonke
koi Sarhad na inhe roke
Sarhaden Insaanon ke liye hain
Bolo tumne aur maine
kya paaya Insaan hoke

Not to mention, it doesn't have the budget for it.

India and Pakistan can cut their military budget, most of which is put together for fighting each other.

Hug a cactus

Why do you always play the irritable and cantankerous old man??

Chill.

Allah Akbar, Almost all Indian media outlets are giving wide coverage to an “unusual development in the region” under which Pakistan is all set to upgrade and advance its indigenous space programme which previously had “limited quality advancements” as compared to those of India which has of late been engaged in active cooperation with the US in order to enhance and upgrade its satellite programme. The militarisation of space by India is already posing security challenges for its nuclear-armed neighbours while strengthening the Indian battlefield strategy, robust system for location identification and navigational support. Allamdiullah, Pakistan space plan of 2047 is well timed.New technologies are making modern warfare more or less indirect and deeply reliant on space tools, which provide surveillance and remote sensing; real-time situational awareness; information gathering, processing, and communication; and early warning systems. It is vital for for us as Pakistani to understand and acknowledge the importance of a robust space program. Doing so will not only enable national and commercial space exploration but help provide Pakistan with significant military and economic gains, needed now to compete with a resurgent and dominant neighbor India.

But who would get over its ego to do so.

True.

As long as ultra-nationalists are in government, nationalist egos will prevent real development in the region from taking place.

Shameless liars. Calling China made satellite as Pakistan made. Anyways Pakistan is heading in a right direction now. Would loved if it was done by Suparco.
