Please note that sometimes the articles I post are judged by Pakistani readers to not be from "reputable sources". And yet, even if true, they may still be articles that influence American policymakers. A recent article I posted, "Mainstreaming radicals: Pakistan army puts terrorist-friendly candidates within grasp of power" was apparently removed for that reason. Yet it was printed in The Washington Times, a D.C. newspaper popular with conservatives and the Trump crowd. If Pakistanis close their eyes to what influences U.S. government opinion about Pakistan, who is to blame when Pakistanis are disappointed with the results?

The Media that support a criminal like Hussain Haqqani is not welcome in Pakistan. This tells you a lot about public opinion in Pakistan you cannot force people to read the narrative you like this is the first step of Journalism you need to understand.

If USA want to reach hearts of Pakistani people they have to let go anti-Army narrative because Pakistanis love their Army. It is not peoples mistake if they reject you. It is your mistake.

The topic (not the article of CNN) was under discussion in Pakistani media and interior ministry and establishment was being criticized for wrong approach. I don't think there was any need to close the thread unless you were adding more spice into already spiced up article .

If policies were made on news articles George Soros would have been king of the world by now.

If Obama was still president or Hillary had won in 2016 I'd be quoting from Soros-friendly sources instead. (Soros visited the Oval Office a number of times while Obama was president.) However, it's the American people who elect American president and the American president who has the greatest influence on policies. If you want to know what influences the president, is it such a bad idea to read the stuff that influences the people around him, and maybe even the president himself?
