i think we should focus on biological warfare more than stealth fighters as it becomes evident from corona virus outbreak in china that if you are able to spread such lethal virus among enemy army troops or nation it will cripple economy of country and also badly effect military personnel fighting capability which will cause much more damage than f35 like fighter jets and is also much cheaper approach.I think in future 6 gen warfare will involve biological warfare as major component along with other military warfare techniques

Pakistan is not in a hurry for stealth jets considering India our primary target is not in a hurry. Pakistan has not even defined the role of a stealth jet in its fleet. How effective will be stealth in future is also questionable. EW domain is much better area to invest rather than stealth. A semi stealth design with EW capabilities will be much better way to go rather than opting for a full stealth aircraft.

IMO India will wait to induct 5 generation fighter until AMCA program is ready for mass production stage which is expected after 2030. US itself IMO will not give F 35 to India since US is afraid India will show F 35 technology to Russia. So I guess Pakistan has about 10 more years to induct 5 generation fighters.

It is likely that Pakistan will acquire fifth generation fighters (J-31) before India. IAF has mostly lagged behind PAF in technical parity anyways. The only difference now is that the public will catch up to it because of the fifth generation marketing tag. IAF will then have to spin a story that it’s radars can track J-31.

If Indian diplomats cannot find a way to delay China from supplying fifth generation tech to Pakistan, then this eventuality is almost certain. Best case timeframe for the IAF to be combat ready and trained with AMCA is 2035. Chances are ripe however that IAF will reject the first iteration of the AMCA even if DRDO is able to keep with this optimistic timeline. In such a worst case scenario, IAF will have to run back to Russia.

UK and France have both offered collaboration for the development of 6th generation aircraft with India. GOI should be prudent and grab the opportunity without wasting time in the fantasy that DRDO/HAL duo will handle the task in due time.

The J-20 is not for export so stop talking about it. And stop taking about the SU-57 and the F-35 as they come with a compromise of strategic interests.

Best choice for Pakistan is to get at least 25 new F-16V and also upgrade the remaining fleet. This will help us get through the next 15 years comfortably.

The project AZM is a nice project to keep the new interns at Kamra Aeronautical Complex busy. By the time the interns make the computer model of the AZM project, Dajjal would be already roaming the earth and the apocalypse would be upon us.

In the future the timely upgrade of JF-17 will be important. numerical superiority of JF-17 with top of the line EW systems, radars and air to air missiles will ensure survival.

The Chinese do not use JF-17 as well, but that does not make it a failure. Chinese are working on upgrading the aircraft. It’ll not be far fetched to expect them to make an acceptable product out of this before any south Asian country can operationalize a fifth generation fighter.

Pakistan will not be opting for any more F16 or any other fighter as a matter of fact. Secondly F16 blk 70 does not provide any capability which PAF already doesn't possess. This also after we bend ourselves backwards for US and make compromises on CPEC.

JF 17 Thunder is being configured to perform all the roles which are desired by PAF. Project Azm is the way to go which will mature in 10-15 years.
