But the Russian Ruble has been pretty stable during the last few years and both Russia and Iran are resource super powers. Iran has the largest supply of natural gas on the planet and the 4th largest supply of crude.

If you recall when Erdogan came to power 1 USD was worth 1 million Lira. All Erdogan did was slash 6 zero's. So it went from 1 USD = 1 million Lira to 1 USD = 1 Lira. Actually for convenience sake that was an okay move.
Like I said if Erdogan had actually raised interest rates years ago Turkey would be fine but currently the Turkish economy is headed towards an inevitable catastrophic collapse. Why ? Because Erdogan keeps lowering interest rates while inflation is sky rocketing out of control.
After Erdogan slashed 6 zeros it was 1 USD = 1 Lira, then 1.2, then 1.5, then 2, then 4, then 6, now almost 10. The US Dollar has increased in value against the Lira by TEN FOLD. Counting the slashed 6 zeros from 15 or so years ago, in reality 1 USD is worth 10 MILLION LIRA right now. Slashing zeros does not change the fundamentals of the economy.
Iran's currency took a hit after US sanctions were imposed but what about Turkey ? Turkey is a NATO ally. You host US bases. There are no significant, potent sanctions imposed on Turkey so what is the issue then ? Why is the Lira now one of the worlds most worthless currencies ?
What is Erdogan going to do to fix this ? Let me guess, slash another zero or two whenever it gets out of control ? You know who's buying up all the land for the Istanbul Canal. 80% of people in Istanbul don't want it. It's getting built because Erdogan's friends and family will own all the land.
Turkey's economy has grown significantly in the last decade and a half but unfortunately that prosperity has not reached the common Turkish citizen. Instead a small number of elitists have become disgustingly filthy while the vast majority of Turks are having trouble filling their stomachs.
Mark my words Turkey is the next country after Venezuela, Afghanistan, Lebanon to face an imminent collapse and hyper inflation. I just hope it doesn't lead to a civil war because we all know that Erdogan is not stepping down willingly.

This is mental retardation.. You do know that Turkey has 11th biggest economy in the world and wealthier than the greeks on individual level since the per capita is higher on their end. To much talk about Lira. All the world is going thru hyper inflation currently due to the covid.
Iran is much closer to collapse economically similar to Lebanon than anyone else currently

Guys ...you are not going to change MMM-E'S view of his country so stop challenging him...he is a Turkish patriot and like it or not his view of his country may be supper inflated but he is truly a believer...Syria has decided to liberate Idlib so we shall expect some kinetic action in there soon...I will cheer for any country that is trying to liberate her lands so let's hope SAA can do the job...changing international borders is not acceptable no matter who the sides are.

Turkey is the only industrialized nation in the region ? Iran produces 1 million cars a year. Not foreign companies like Benz, Iranian auto makers. Iran is fully self sufficient in nuclear fuel production. Turkey only has plans and hype so far.
Iran has researched and produced it's own Covid-19 vaccines. Turkey has not. Iran produces air defense equipment on par with S-400. Meanwhile Turkey has to pay billions to Russia.
The most Turkey can do is buy vital components from abroad and put some things together. Or buy things form the west and put your name on it and fool Turks into thinking it's yours. That's all. You can't build anything vital from scratch though.

The liberation of Idlib is the job of SAA..If they need help from Iran or others it is up to them to decide I know Iran will help...as for Assad..last I checked he was president of Syrian republic..and the upcoming fight for Idlib is not sectarian since bulk of SAA are Sunnis fighting against a foreign supported terrorist organization....Turks will be fighting Arabs who are ready to get their land back..same scenario in reverse when Baku republic was trying to get her land back from Arminia..
