Turkeys defence exports stood at over $1 billion or close to 1.5 billion in 2011 , turkey aims to increase this to atleast $8 billion in 2023.

The ATILGAN PMADS (Pedestal-Mounted Air Defence Missile System) is a fully automated firing unit for Very Short-Range Air Defence System (VSHORADS) missiles such as the FIM-92 Stinger, providing autonomous as well as coordinated operation with C3I systems and other air defence assets. Currently integrated onto an armoured tracked vehicle, the modular turret incorporating LRU sub-systems can be integrated on various types of carrier vehicles.

Variants of the Pedestal Mounted Air Defence System (PMADS), carrying Russian Igla SAMs and suitable for use on naval platforms, are available.

How effective is the FIM-92 considering many fighter jets can use flares which can trick the infrared homing system of a FIM-92 by making the missile go after the heat signature of the flares?

It seems you would have to fire multiple FIM-92s to have a chance of bringing the jet down before it escapes beyond the 3 mile range.

The MİLGEM project, from the Turkish words Milli Gemi (National Ship), is a Turkish national warship program, the purpose of which is to build a modern littoral combat warship with indigenous anti-submarine warfare and high-seas patrol capabilities, extensively using the principles of stealth technology in its design.

According to a CNN Türk news report on September 27, 2008, the navies of Canada, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ukraine and a number of South American countries have expressed interest in acquiring MİLGEM class warships. The Pakistan Navy shows interest in acquiring four MİLGEM class corvettes over a 10-year program, of which three to be manufactured in local shipyards. On the 6th of April 2011, Indonesia and Turkey signed cooperation agreement on defense industry including the construction of two MİLGEM class corvettes for the Indonesian Navy.

Pars 6x6 is being proposed to the Turkish Army and in 2006 the 8x8 vehicle was tested by the Malaysian Army against the Swiss Piranha IIIC and the Finnish Patria AMV, in 2010 FNSS Savunma Sistemleri Inc. has signed a letter of intent for Malaysia's 8x8 Armored Vehicles Program for 257 8x8 Pars vehicles to be manufactured locally in Malaysia. The Pars 8x8 was also tested in United Arab Emirates' desert trials in 2008 and completed 11,000 km desert and road trials successfully. Pars 8x8 also participated in the desert trials of UAE again in 2010.

Certification efforts are in progress to enable the SOM missile for integration with Turkish Air Force F-35 Lightning II.
The SOM missile is also one of the two official candidate cruise missiles, besides the Joint Strike Missile developed by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace of Norway, to be integrated onto the F-35 Lightning II.
The SOM Missile is the first non-US made weapon to use the Universal Armaments Interface (UAI). Accordingly, the SOM missile can be integrated onto any platform which uses UAI.
