What's new

The Swedish newspaper revealed a secret plan by the United States to destroy the German economy.

What in the world does the Kosovo war have to do with the Euro?
In 1991, the Communist Party of Yugoslavia lost its position as the ruling party. Yugoslavia is about to split.

At that time, Western European countries wanted to achieve integration, so they naturally wanted to control the Balkans. They began to fund local independent forces. Including the "Kosovo Liberation Army".

At that time, the separatist forces in Yugoslavia had become very powerful. Western European countries had long wanted to launch attacks against the Yugoslav government, but the United States government has refused to do so.

It was not until 1999 that the United States changed its attitude.

On January 1, 1999, the Single Monetary Act was implemented in European Union countries implementing the euro.

The Kosovo War broke out on March 24, 1999.

After the outbreak of the war, the euro exchange rate fell from the original 1.1:1 to 0.9:1.

During the war, France and Germany repeatedly demanded to launch ground attacks as soon as possible. Their intention was to end the war as soon as possible and reduce capital loss. But the American bombing of SAARC lasted 78 days slowly.

According to statistics, as of March 2000, more than one trillion dollars of European assets had flowed to the United States.

On July 11, 1999, the US military even handed over the eastern defense area of Kosovo and Pristina Airport to the Russian army. As a result, the British Frier Airborne Brigade dispatched by Europe did not gain any control. The European plan to integrate the Balkans also failed.

The stupidest thing about Europeans is that they have never realized that the biggest enemy of the dollar is the euro.

That is false.

US did not hand over eastern defense area of Kosovo and Pristina Airport to Russian Army. Russian Army was deployed without consultation with KFOR, they left their own deployment SFOR (Which basically sit on the Serbian side of the line). And reach Pristina Airport and Eastern Kosovo before KFOR arrived. The British Royal Horse Guard - RHG/D (not Para) was stopped on the way to Pristina.

One Captain James Blunt (Yes, that Singer James Blunt) was in his FV107 in an advance unit which was stopped on his way to Pristina Airport, he reported back to NATO chain of command, and Wesley Clark was quoted in Blunt's after-action report point out that Gen Clark order Blunt unit to sweep the Russian check point and remove any opposition. In other word, have a firefight with the Russian. Blunt refused that order according to him (Not mentioned in his after-action report, which I suspect more likely Gen Mike Jackson of British Army heard what Gen Clark said and intervene, instead of Blunt disobey a direct order as he said)

In the end, the incident of Pristina Airport was solved by the British Troop encircling (The official report said "Isolating") the 200 or so Russian VDV and they decided to let the British inside the Pristina zone.

This is a very well documented incident, and Blunt himself has openly talked about it numerous times

This is James Blunt talking about the incident at Pristina Airport.
