Gurdaspur: The terrorists, who launched a terror strike in the Gurdaspur district in Punjabon Monday, had 'Made in China' grenadeswith them.

According to Director General of Punjab Police Sumedh Singh Saini, the terrorists were carrying sophisticated weapons. "We have recovered 'Made in China' grenades from them. They were wearing combat fatigues," he said.

Saini said AK 47 guns and hand grenades were recovered from the terrorists, who had attacked the sentry at the police station before engaging with the SHO and the SP.

He had described the attack as "planned" as their modus operandi pointed at a specific direction.

Preliminary probe into the terror strike in Dinanagar town that left seven persons dead indicates that the three suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba militants had entered the country from Pakistan through Bamiyal village close to the International Border.

The four-member team led by Davinder Pal Sehgal and Ashwani Kumar have begun their investigations into the strike that left the Punjab stunned.

Seven persons--three civilians, Superintendent of Police (Detective), Baljit Singh, a Punjab provincial service officer and three home guards were killed by the terrorists yesterday.

The terrorists were gunned down after a day-long operation.

Dinanagar town, which is close to Pakistan, falls in Gurdaspur district. It is sandwiched between Gurdaspur town on the one side and Pathankot on the other and lies about 260 km from capital Chandigarh.

Huh? If someone buys a knife that is made in China and stabs you to death with it, is that China's fault?

If someone runs you over with a car that was made in China, is that China's fault too? How about if you get shot, and find out the bullet is made in China?

Newsflash, we are the largest exporter in the world. We can't control what people do with our products once they buy it. We can't stop them from re-selling it, and we can't stop the next guy from re-selling it either. Weapons/ammunition/etc. are usually re-sold a significant number of times before ending up in the hands of black market dealers.

@Horus @waz @Jango @Armstrong look at this funny topic, do you think they will start talking about "surgical strikes" into China as well? Just need to wait a bit and see.

(I'm not asking for this thread to be deleted BTW, just trying to understand what is going on in their heads).

Enjoy it bro, enjoy it. Indians thought they will 'get away' with what they did to Pakistan. The chickens are coming back to roost and they will keep coming.

So China sells granades at its super markets. Interesting. It even allows passengers to carry their super market purchased grenades on aircrafts to their respective countries. Nice

WTF are you talking about?

How can we control who re-sells our products or not? And what about the next guy who it gets re-sold to? And the next guy?

If you get killed by being shot, there is a good chance that bullet is made in China too. So it's our fault again. :disagree:

The irony is that India officially said that they are supporting terrorists as a state policy:

‘You have to neutralise terrorist through terrorist only,’ says Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar | The Indian Express

And now they are whining simply because we are successful at exporting weapons, that even their own internal terrorist groups can easily buy it off the black market.

China makes everything man..How can you blame some one by just having a product..Leave China out of this context...China plays some big games rather than petty games that is played by Pakistan..

Indeed - No surprises - Chinese made weapons are already in use for long by terrorist and insurgent groups like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas & other terror groups in the middle east as well as in north east India.

this reminds me a few years back, some indian kid was choked to death by some strings/ropes made in China, and one of the retard journalists managed to write a page on how china caused that kid to die.

India trying to 'pass the buck' from themselves, introspection is the need of the hour and hopefully then her inhabitants will come to see the real reason(s) for their plight.

Not only a China angle, there's a world angle to this!

The GPS was made by Garmin, their Ak in Russia, grenade in China, shoes in Bangladesh, bullets right here in POF, food and rations from Mars perhaps...poori dunia Indians kay khilaf hai!

I have seen you do this several times like a broken record here, as in post that improperly translated claim. That english version of the quote was erroneously translated. The original quote was " remove a thorn with a thorn". A chinese like proverb.

BUT even if one takes the 'remove terrorists through terrorist' quote at face value, then you have to concede that the other side(pakistan in this case) is the one who is first using terrorists groups to attack India.

Furthermore, for India to use other terrorist groups to neutralize them as a "counter attack", would be something out Sun Tzu's, Art of war strategy, where you use the enemies assets to attack each other. As a Chinese you should appreciate that.

100% wrong. He said that "thorn" thing in Hindi, and THEN he made his "terrorists" remark in English.

You can read his full quote from the source:

‘You have to neutralise terrorist through terrorist only,’ says Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar | The Indian Express

Responding to a question at Manthan Aaj Tak in New Delhi, Parrikar said: “If any country, why Pakistan, is planning something against my country, I will take proactive steps. Of course, not in the public domain. But what I have to do, I will do it. Whether it is diplomatic, whether it is pressure tactics or whether it is using the… woh usko bolte hain na Marathi mein kaante se kaanta nikaalte hain… Hindi mein bhi rahega… you have to neutralise terrorist through terrorist only.”

One downside from having English as the de facto link language of India, you can't claim a misunderstanding based on translation issues.
