What's new

PM Shehbaz is holding Zoom meetings to "arrest" Rs fall...

Really? Why did PMIK announce the simply unaffordable energy subsidies just before he left office?
50 billion Rs petrol subsidy is a problem. Imran Khan is responsible. 7 billion dollar exchange rate subsidy is ingenious. Nawaz Sharif is great: Patwari

Sir,

Turn the graphs upside down- problem solved šŸ¤£. BMW X6 mentality šŸ˜‚

Your poor comprehension is evident, so I cannot be upset at your name calling. :D

What part of this is too hard for you to understand that you failed to quote it?: "PTI was just as horrible as all those who came before them, in and out of uniform, no better and no worse." It has taken a whole succession of idiots, including IK, BB, NS and several Jurnails to ruin Pakistan's economy over decades.

It was a team sport, apparently, with one-sided sycophants like you cheering their chosen sides.

I will stop with you here.

If Youthias and Patwaris are both responsible as you admit, then time for Jiyala to take over? :D

Chairing a Zoom meeting on Monday with the Chairman Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) Malik Bostan, the prime minister expressed his concern over the current situation.Finance Minister Miftah Ismail had discussed in detail the exchange rate situation with a ECAP team on Saturday last.Mr Bostan said another Zoom meeting with the prime minister and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) governor is scheduled for Tuesday to discuss the worrying rupee relationship with the US dollar.

Only he will have to leave the office to arrest this fall

Even if elections are announced, isnā€™t the situation too late to rectify the evonomy now?

Imran Khan can restore the trust with Pakistan's longstanding allies, and try to fix the economy that was crippled due to blunders by american slaves.

China or KSA might come to help if IK comes in power.

Importing cheaper oil from Russia and Iran will be key factor reviving Pakistan's economy

PDM mix achaar has completely lost support in Pakistan, their politics is dead and buried. The are now being labelled as traitors.

Really? Why did PMIK announce the simply unaffordable energy subsidies just before he left office? Why have the new crew not removed them still? PTI was just as horrible as all those who came before them, in and out of uniform, no better and no worse.

My posts and stance on these matters has been absolutely consistent here, despite much derision and deletion.
Sorry, if PTI did so, it was their burden to bear- if PTI would have failed to fund it, that would have been one thing, but the coterie of thieves came and now it is for them to justify their politics of inflation and mehengai while managing it. For the record, the dollar was pegged and the PTI took the brave decision to unpeg it. Much bigger deal than a subsidy that SS could remove tomorrow. So yours is a false equivalency.
Pakistan's economic woes will continue, and indeed worsen with time, no matter who or what is in charge, for the foreseeable future. Anybody who tells it differently is either ignorant or lying.
No, it is you that is ignorant. Pakistan can develop the same pace as our neighbors to the east and in South Asia as long as we donā€™t have the coterie of thugs and criminals represented by the PML-N and PPP in power. Excluding the terms associated with these criminals, Pakistan has grown faster than our neighbors in South Asia on average.

What we need to do is clean sweep these bands of thugs and all their associated institutional gangrene once and for all.
