Even now here Sagala is mentioned which is Sialkot but not Jammu which is right next to it. Taxila was capital of Maurya empire back then. Now there is Islamabad which will be capital of South Asia again if Zaid Hamid have its way.

Fortunately this isn't the 1300s; Pakistanis can't hope to dent the Indian army by pelting it with stones.

Dumfuq and a blind one for that matter...

Even your own map says that Pataliputra (Patna) was the capital and Takshashila the provincial one...

I don't believe in Bhil history, sorry.

I don't believe in Bhil history, sorry.

And we don't believe that you are only a half retard

PS: then why post a photo as "evidence" and then refuse to believe the same when it illustrates the point Indians are trying to make?? Now that definitely puts you on the short bus...LOL

It was a provincial capital along with Tosali and Ujjain. The Capital was Pataliputra because that's were the emperors originated from as verified by every source at the time.

Your version is bhil history, only Punjab was region with warrior races in South Asia back then. Sorry

And we don't believe that you are only a half retard

who are you?

Actually most people don't understand that many of the current cities that we see on maps did not even exist just a 1000 years ago , that is why they were not mentioned anywhere because they simply did not exist, they are new areas which were established latter only. And yes Sialkot is the most ancient city in northern parts of punjab, I have to accept it because it finds repeated mention in historical documents in the form of Sagala.

This is rather funny considering the fact that the Punjab was mostly ruled by foreigners during ancient and medieval period.

Unfortunately for you Pakistan is still the only region in South Asia with warrior races.

This coming from Hindu living in Bharat mata is ironic.

Taxila/Islamabad same place, thats why new Airport in Islamabad name is Gandhara. Now we are only waiting for cunny Chanakya to be born again in pure land.

I've been sent to help you with your condition...short bus is waiting for you..LOL

Are you another Indian who will avoid disclosing? Which ethnic group do you belong to?

I never said Jammu was historically important. It wasn't. It was usually lumped in with other important areas like Kashmir or part of greater Punjab. It was sometimes ruled in isolation by local dogri Rajput tribes but due to its small population the area was not that important historically. Most of the locals were farmers. Only recently Jammu has become an important economic area. Before it was a small town.

A piece from the book

The above paragraph clearly shows that during the times of Classical Greek and Roman Historians like Strabo (64/63 BC – c. AD 24) and Ptolemaeus (AD 90 – c. AD 168) The sources of Jhelum, Chenab and Ravi rivers existed in the land of Kashmir around their time. So this clearly means that these panni tunni dogri people are new arrivals from india into what is now called jammu area. The above document also shows that ancient name of kahsmir was actually Kaspiria as greeks described it.
