Pakistani engineers overhaul AWACS jet bombarded in attack

Hi,

The reason the swedes got hesitant because they were looking for the indian market---as it may not happen---they have lost on pakistani money---and they might want to lay claim to some of it.

The plane may have been rescued and fixed up.

The radar, software and other sensor equipment cannot be fixed.

2007 the ISP stopped arms exports from Sweden to Pakistan, citing violence and unrest in the country. While the Authority accepts deliveries made as a result of earlier weapons contracts. In 2012 was carried out according to the ISP's own statistics five deliveries due to Pakistan at a total value of 615 million.

obviously the parts were ordered from sweden

PAF wouldnt have waited millions fixing it if it was just going to be a flying shell. whats the point

Beyond Repairs maybe plane was really in bad shape
When I talked about it nobody believed it ..

The AWAC was damaged and the officer who responded and confronted was rewarded and was sent to other cantts for lectures on security perimeter etc.

That's a small technical achievement for Pakistan..i wish we had invested more in the field of research and development so that we did not need to bear "nakhras" of these ugly people. As Pakistan has already acquired the skills to manufacture MF-17 Supermashak so Pakistan should make a new A/C with a different name but with same specs and stop paying any license fee to Sweden. But that needs balls and a head and we lack both.

No license fees is paid the swedes.. The patent on it expired decades ago and SM variant is actually not a clone rather it's another variant with more payload capacity, endurance, avionics, weight, length, dimensions, engine etc etc.

The ban I believe was on offensive weapons and not defensive ones.

Not really the radar wasn't damaged ... The aircraft was...

Reflects as bad on the purchasers side.

Everyone knows why Sweden really backed out. India has played a role. Let's not pretend otherwise. It doesn't matter to us. We have fixed the aircraft and we are happy. We have also learnt a valuable lesson in the process. Self-sufficiency is always the key.

What I gather from your post is that only the air frame of the aircraft was damaged? The electronics remained unharmed?

Yes, as showed in earlier posting, SAAB could not get any volunteers to work in Pakistan.
The rest is just fantasies based in the usual muslim victim mentality.

SAAB was pressured by India. Simple.

We are not the ones who created ISIS. We know who did. We also know who got red faced in Syria. It wasn't us. So much for Muslim victim mentality.

Yes, delusion is part of the victim mentality.
With all the important synapses crosswired or shorted, any theory might seem plausible.
You got red faced when the Taliban managed to blow up your strategic assets.

What has ISIS got to do with this discussion?
Time for a new ignore... , been overdue!

Just keep saving face by denying that India pressured you into submission. Doesn't work though, Breivik.

As investigations have pointed out, the terrorists were on Indian payroll who couldn't fathom such a capability. Save us your Taliban speech. It is getting old now like a broken record.

What does "muslim victim mentality" have to do with this discussion? If you are going to taunt, I've better taunts.

Ignore? Go to hell as far as I'm concerned. You don't threaten me with your ignoring. It only proves that you are just another Breivik.

Guys. Please agree to disagree and move on.Whether the Swedes did not come for fear for their lives or due to pressure from MahaBharat is a mute point now as the job has been completed. So thank you swedes e have done the job. Can we move on please.
