Still waiting to know population of cities

Karachi= 16.7m 8.03% vs 9.33m 7.04%

Karachi population is around 17m. Looks like that Duniya news estimates were not that far off.

What happened to Islamabad rural-urban ratio? Isn't all of ICT supposed to be urban anyway?

There are several other cities also I want to know about all of them

Not sure when break down will be released, maybe with final report next year.

The city has a population of roughly 1.1 million rest of the 9 lakh live in villages

But rural population have growth rate of 7% which isn't natural so these are all relatively recent migrants. Why people will move to villages?

If seats are readjusted after latest census.

The new KPK migrants have settled mainly in the rural localities due to high residential cost in sector Islamabad and surrounding semi urban areas
