Pakistan Navy test fires new Harba cruise missile from PNS Himmat Pakistan

This should be interesting with the Type 054A/CSOC 4,000-ton frigate. Either one has an OTHR with passive and active scanning of 400-500 km and 280 km, respectively. Besides radar, is SATNAV doable as well? For example, you have a drone, aircraft or another ship pick-up an enemy ship, and then radio the launch ship the target's location? The Harba is sent to the general vicinity, and when close enough, the active-seeker kicks-in?

ISLAMABAD: Demonstrating the credible fire power of Pakistan Navy and the impeccable level of indigenisation in high tech weaponry achieved by Pakistan’s defence industry, Pakistan Navy’s newly commissioned Fast Attack Craft (Missile), PNS HIMMAT carried out live weapon firing in the North Arabian Sea and fired the indigenous built Harbah Naval Cruise Missile.

In an impressive fire power display, the surface to surface anti-ship missile with land attack capability accurately hit its target validating Harbah Naval Weapon System’s remarkable abilities, which manifested the government’s resolve to achieve self-reliance in the field.

Best part is it is land attack capable. Pakistan made the Necessary modifications to Chinese C series missile to Harba.

I think if Pakistan has developed this capability we will soon see a test of Raad air to sea version soon and that will be great because it will a very fucking long range Air to sea attack missile and will become most feared.

Many nations have carrier killers if this is a nuclear tipped it is a carrier fleet killer. Plus in the video the missile approach to target was sea skimming.

Carrier fleet move in a radius of 100km with the main carrier at the centre and defenders at the periphery so that air strike, submarine strikes or missiles are first detected and intercepted by the outer ring ships. So, fleet can't e taken out with a nuclear bomb. A single hit by a large warhead can indeed take out most ships even if it is not nuclear tipped.

So, Modi and Yahu Will sign LORA deal in upcoming visit?
India is not buyig LORA. LORA is a smaller version of Indian Shaurya missile. India has no need to import ballistic misisles.

Just a simple question.
What is the range of this missile and what is the speed? And how many missiles were fired today? I believe there were more than one missiles fired. Because first everybody is standing outside with gaggles on the eyes witnessing the launch and a few seconds later, everyone was seated comfortably inside watching the impact on screen. Clearly, more than one missile was fired.

Speed of subsonic cruise missiles is around 0.6-0.7 Mach which is 750-850kmph. If this is a babur variant, then this is the speed. Nirbhay and Tomahawk also have similar speed

Pakistan is on a great high after Nuclear Capable Missile is launched from it's Indegniously made Attack Ships

Wouldn't PN have a network centric fleet by now? It's 2018...I would assume PN would've worked on some sort of solution where the data is shared, to paint a massive picture of the battlefield, by all the multiple assets/platforms like ground based radars, AWACS, naval jets, ships, helicopters, P3C Orions, etc.

Very good, threatening uncle Don with missiles is a bad idea. Please conduct a nuclear test as well to display pakistans strength. Pakistan is simply digging a more deeper pit. It would be interesting to know Don's view on missile test.
