Pakistan Navy test fires new Harba cruise missile from PNS Himmat Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Demonstrating the credible fire power of Pakistan Navy and the impeccable level of indigenisation in high tech weaponry achieved by Pakistan’s defence industry, Pakistan Navy’s newly commissioned Fast Attack Craft (Missile), PNS HIMMAT carried out live weapon firing in the North Arabian Sea and fired the indigenous built Harbah Naval Cruise Missile.

In an impressive fire power display, the surface to surface anti-ship missile with land attack capability accurately hit its target validating Harbah Naval Weapon System’s remarkable abilities, which manifested the government’s resolve to achieve self-reliance in the field.

I always wonder if these idiots know what a different camera angle is.

Lo Bhai mai tu keh raha hon. Missile right ki taraf ja raha hai tu left pay debris kaisay gira.

Bas woh CGI walay expert ki kami reh gaye hai. Banda kabhi wapis nazar nahi aya.

more like a ship based c602 as shown in post 4. id expect the babur being vertically launched via ship.
so then this means either the zarb is a coastal based variant for the c602/harbra or even the c802 or something we have not seen. would be quiet strange if its based of the c602 as i dont see the point in giving it a new name.
the color scheme was like babur red and white

Now top it up by testing a longer range mobile ballistic missile

I have a feeling,

if Trump does some thing silly in the next 48 hours as they are claiming
then a long range missile will be displayed.
Say the whereabouts of 3500km or so. Maybe 5000 km ..

Congratulations Pakistan.

Regarding Indian experts, what else would you expect from a jealous Nation who's behind you in missile technology? They will obviously hide their inferiority by calling your missile "old", "copied", "fake" and "same old babur" - What a trash - what a trash!

Just a simple question.
What is the range of this missile and what is the speed? And how many missiles were fired today? I believe there were more than one missiles fired. Because first everybody is standing outside with gaggles on the eyes witnessing the launch and a few seconds later, everyone was seated comfortably inside watching the impact on screen. Clearly, more than one missile was fired.

@Anybody informed please;

Is Pakistan operating CM-400AKG ? The anti ship missile with speed between Mach 4.5 to 5? If so, can we transform this air-to-sea missile into other variants as we have for Babur?

KARACHI – Pakistan Navy on Wednesday demonstrated its ability to respond to any aggression by conducting a test fire of a cruise missile from its recently commissioned PNS Himmat near Karachi.

The Fast Attack Craft (Missile) PNS HIMMAT, built at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW), was commissioned at Pakistan Navy Dockyard Karachi last year in July. PNS HIMMAT is a 63 meters long Fast Attack Craft fitted with state of the art weapons and sensor.

The Harba is an indigenously built sea-to-sea cruise missile which can also hit the target on the surface. The missile achieved its target successfully during the Wednesday’s demonstration.

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi witnessed the demonstration from PNS Alamgir. According to the Navy, this successful demonstration of weapon firing is a manifestation of the reliability of Pak Navy firepower.

Exact range and speed are classified, however one can assume that it has similar characteristics as that of Babur-II (subsonic, <700km range). In a test-launch such as this one, the first of its kind, only one system can be assumed to have been fired. A subsonic anti-ship missile takes a lot of time to reach its target (20-30 minutes, depending on distance to target), which allows for the observers to see the results comfortably.

I think the practical range will depend on the ship's radar as well - one that detects/tracks before the AShM with active seeker is launched.
