New Zealand vs England - Cricket World Cup 2019 Final

Chalo maan liya poorer nation aur culture. But BCCI budget can eat up NZC and poop it out 10x over surely they can scout 10 million = 2xNZ population and get 1 fast bowler who can bowl 150kph??? Over 50+ years?!?! Pakistan has history of both world class bowlers and batsmen with a bias toward bowlers. Let me know if you want to know about world renown batsmen or even all rounders from Pakistan.

They can but speed of fast bowlers was not given much importance Indian academies rather they trained to mainly focus on proper line and length, till 2000s but things are changing now one step at a time. A decade ago our bowlers rarely reached 140 now many can constantly clock spread of around 145 like bumrah, shami etc at this rate we should be having some express bowlers in mid 20s . Plus most people Indian players look to prolong their careers as long as possible, due to strain the fast bowling puts on the body no surprise that most such bowlers career have been short due to injuries or either reduction of speed.

India has produced greater batsmen than Pakistan, Pakistan has produced greater bowlers than India. It is a difference in culture between the two countries. Speed of a bowler has nothing to do with it. Right now the world number one bowler is an Indian - Bumrah, irrespective of his speed.

This world cup and the final are good for the game of cricket. Hopefully England will become a bigger cricket playing nation now.

England lifting Cricket Worldcup means all football crowd will now come back to cheering Cricket and much more investment would come....good for cricket overall. Never seen English fans so emotional and expressive like this....total like Pakistani emotional fans. Great to see the emotions.

You are correct over here.
Those fans are just drunk. Don't trust their emotions. England won by clear cheating. Like they have always done in the past , in every thing they won.
Kiwis are the real champs , irrespective of who lifted that stupid trophy.

This is very true but you have to admit this is a batsman's game if the winner is decided on number of boundaries. This is the exact thing killing cricket unfortunately.

What kind.of sick.rule.is that ? Did English make it in the pub ?

Whether they are "greater" batsmen or not is debatable but they were certainly world renowned unlike any Indian bowler.

Speed of bowler has nothing to do with what? Who really cares about ranking when it comes to these things? That doesn't mean he's not a good bowler but is he a standout from the rest up there? Ehhhhhh...

Whether you like it or not speed is important and India cannot produce a pacer with speed.

Sounds like an Indian rule to me can't rely on actual skill so they pushed for these kinds of things. But who knows.

Sorry but those all sound like excuses all of the other teams have pacers that they juggle so the workload isn't overwhelming BCCI has most money out of all boards they can surely provide best care for a faster pacer. 140s is and always has been common fast is consistent 145+ like Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Usman Shinwari, Wahab Riaz, Lockie Ferguson, Oshane Thomas, etc. etc.

Speed doesn't count for crap. Pakistan's own best bowlers were Wasim, Waqar and Imran and they were known for their swing not for speed. Shoaib was the one known for speed and he didnt even come close to these guys.

The best bowler in the world right now, Bumrah is also not known for his speed. Gleen Mcgrath, arguable the best bowler in the world of his time was also not known for speed.

Shaun Tate and Dale Steyn were also damn fast. They didn't achieve mcuh

History won't remember whether it was tie, who won hearts, ridiculous rules etc etc etc.
It would only remember whom won the World Cup in 2019 and that's England, nothing else.
Absolutely.

NZ need to go back to the drawing board. Not gonna cheer for this side again - bunch of morons.

What the, the English old lady, is she crying with happiness or laughing with happiness?

Can't hold her emotions. Atleast at her age she saw England winning a worldcup for the first time. Seems like this lifting the cup meant alot to English and England residents.
Mixed emotions and yes winning world champion title meant a lot for English fans especially old generation who are very passionate about cricket
