If what you say is true then can you please provide a link to your sources/evidence?

You see, he has presented a long, prejudiced and utterly biased, discourse, but he would never be able to give you any authentic work, by a truly independent agency, covering this issue; since there is none.

EXACTLY! So the ENTIRE indian/bengali narrative with regards to the 1971 war is a COMPLETE lie. Notice how bengalis keep CLAIMING as facts that millions of bengalis were raped and murdered by the PA but NONE of them can back it up with facts or evidence.

One reason is that this narrative suited all the concerned, except for Pakistan; but what, Pakistan, could have done at that time of distress. Another psychological reason was that Pakistan wanted to forget and forego this tragedy.

Agreed in total apart from the last part. The creation of bangladesh was not a tragedy but was inevitable. Doesn't matter if it happened in 1971, 1981, 1991, 2001 or 2011, bangladesh would have emerged with or without indian assistance. History has shown that you CANNOT form a nation with 2 land masses 1000s of kms apart who are COMPLETELY different to one another in terms of race, dna, culture, heritage, history, language etc.

What authentic work do u need?

Do u know the methodology that researchers use to calculate the total number of casualties in these types of incidents ??

Do u think that people go there and count the number of dead body in these type of cases? We r talking about a time when information took months to flow from one place to another. Furthermore, Pakistan army captured and forcefully sent back all the foreign journalists who were present in East Pakistan back then so that they can't present the brutality of Pak army in from of the whole world. Still quite a few journalists managed to stay back by hiding their identity and the news they sent back from the field was nothing but barbarism of Pak army against men, women and children.

Go read what Dr. Marshall wrote about the number of deaths in 71 war in his "Major episodes of political violace" book.

Go and read what Milton Litenberg In his article titled 'Deaths in Wars and Conflict in the 20th Century', Dr. Jack Nusan Porter in his "Genocide and Human Rights" book, Dr. Samanta in her "A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide" book and RJ rummel in his "statistics of democide" book wrote about the total death toll in 71 war.

So far almost 1000 mass graveyards have been found out in Bangladesh. After independence Almost 1000 skulls have been found out from one single hole in a graveyard in Chittagong. Many graveyards have been lost with time and many couldn't have been found out.

Even if we take the average no of dead body of 1k per graveyard the total number of causality will reach I million. Furthermore, hundreds of thousands of dead bodies were thrown into the river. If we combine these numbers then we will see that the total number of people who were brutally killed by Pak army were 1-1.5 million or more.

You are 100 percent right and your analysis is very correct. But what I am saying is different. These aspects are not appreciated by the common folks. Tragedy has more to do with feelings and emotions, and far less with reality and rationality. I am a personal witness, that the day, news of Dhaka fall arrived in Pakistan, it was a very heavy day for most of the Pakistanis. I personally saw a lot number of grown up people weeping, including some of my relations.

Respect to the analysts in the video presented in the OP. At least they accepted the truth and showed their remorse.

But I don't think we will have a good relationship with Pakistan in next 3/4 decades especially considering how clueless and ignorant most of them r about the atrocity committed by the Pak army in. 71.

But if future Pak govt come into their senses, make formal apology for killing 1.5 million bengalis and shows actual remorse then these two countries may come close in future. But until then it's totally impossible.

I don't understand the point of all this. These bengali trolls are only here for the trolling. They don't even care about Bengali deaths. If they did, they would be crying for the 1.5 million genocide in 74
But since that genocide was committed by hassina's father, it's okay.

Anytime a Bengali brings up 71, just remind them that they should first get justice for 74. After that we can talk about 71.

Distance wouldn't have mattered if West pakistan were fare and considered bengalis as their own people and worked for their development instead of looting their resources.

Bengali Muslims were the ones who fought for the independence of Pakistan. Without their initiative Pakistan wouldn't have been created in the first place.

But after getting the independence we have seen that West Pakistanis were worse than the British or hindus in treating the Muslims/hindus of East Pakistan.

That's why (before the decline of the jute demand) even after having 60% of total population, after earning more than 60% of total revenues of Pakistan, East Pakistan(now Bangladesh) received only 30% of the total expenditure. But West Pakistan(now Pakistan) earned marely 40% of total revenue, had less than 40% of total Pakistani people while received over 70% of the total expenditure. Can u realise the scale of mismanagement and looting?

That's why in first 10 years of the creation of Pakistan from 47-57, the the per capita income of East Pakistanis decreased by 30 RS while the per capita income of west pakistanins increased by 40 rs at the same time. Such was level of discrimination, looting and mismanagement by the West pakistan.

Then there were social, cultural and political discrimination. In one world the looting and discrimination was totally unprecedented.

Bengalis could never be considered our People. You guys are basically Hindus with a Muslim paint.
We asked to create a nation based on Islam and you guys wanted a nation based on your ethnicity.

Not a single ethnicity in West Pakistan protested Urdu because they knew we are not an ethno state. You guys just didn't understand that.

You've just explained EXACTLY what I said previously. You have just given a rhetorical answer.

Human nature is such that ultimately one CAN never accept a different race as their own people. Different races can never become one. History has shown this many times over 5,000 years. This is what fundamentally led to the creation of bangladesh. It is also the reason what led to the creation of Pakistan in 1947.

Respect to the analysts in the video presented in the OP. At least they accepted the truth and showed their remorse.

The atrocities which there is NO solid proof of. Just lies and propaganda. So we have now gone from 3 million bengalis killed by the PA to 1.5 million killed. Let me now when we get to 8 bengalis killed by the PA in 1971.

U have just committed a sin and u'll answer for that to Allah. U r not supposed to judge other Muslims. Only ur creator has that right. Anyway, I won't do the same.

But u aren't wrong about the fact that West Pakistan and its corrupt rulers never considered bengalis as their own people.

That's why famous statistician RJ rummel said that the primary purpose of mass murder in 71 war was to keep bengalis subservient to West Pakistan generation after generation. Because it was the only way they could continue their unprecedented looting. That's why West Pakistan army didn't hesitate to kill 1.5 mliin men, women and children.

Mujib won the election and got the right to govern the whole Pakistan. But his presidency wouldn't have allowed West Pakistan to loot resources from East Pakistan that they had been doing since 47. That's one of the main reasons Pak army decided to indiscriminately kill bengalis so that bengalis never dare to voice their opinion again.

Had we not been looted for 20 long years (from 47-71) and could've used our resources we would've been in the position where Vietnam is today.

As for the Urdu language, it was a language spoken by a tiny percentage of people of whole Pakistan. Hence, it neither had the number nor prestige/heritage to become the national language of Pakistan.

Bangla was the language which was spoken by the majority of people of Pakistan and that's why we made bangla as the national language of Pakistan. That's how democracy works.

Furthermore, we take extreme pride in our culture. So why should've we accepted a minor language like Urdu spoken by a tiny percentage of people of whole Pakistan over a language like bangla which used to be spoken by the majority of people of Pakistan ?

I can empathize with you. But ultimately, the truth is the bengalis cannot be a part of us just as we could NEVER be part of india. Different races CANNOT make nations together. Especially when they are so different to one another.
