according to sources, there were Pakistani doctors on site and they communicated first with her in Urdu; she asked where she was (which country) and they explained. She knew why she was there anBut I d what she's being treated for. Apparently quite responsive, despite only being able to write. For someone who has gone through so much trauma to the body (2 gunshot wounds, one to the head) she's been incredibly strong.

once she's up and about it will be important to also provide her with psychology help; such a thing would cause her to feel some post-traumatic stress i'm sure. But shes strong and i pray she'll make prompt return to Pakistan to pursue her further studies
