Lockheed Martin to offer F-35 to India ?

It would be better to go for these birds with assembly line instead of F-16 or F-18. In that way we will have good experience in manufacturing few sub-parts if LM allows us, and that will help with assembly line of AMCA. Otherwise AMCA will be screwed by HAL, we need hands on experience with an American 5th gen jet.

Hell with ToT, nobody will share blue print with us. We will only get the parts to be manufactured in India no electronic equipment tech will be transferred to India. So best solution will be to get F-35 and in between try to reverse engineer it and utilize it in AMCA or start a separate program for single engined 5th gen jet.
