True it's like comparing two cities with one large population and the other with a fairly small population. However Tokyo and NYC may have large populations as well.. people are still forgetting that India is a developing country so its natural to see poor parts such as slums and so-so infrastructure.

We are not comparing the countries as a whole. Its just a comparison between 2 cities. Its quite simple.

Delhi is huge and historic. Its been there since centuries and hence has got the excess baggage associated with it.

If we make any of the newly planned and build cities as our capital , it will surpass Isloo.

Since its not the case , the more logical answer is to accept the truth.

Yeah that's pretty much what I meant

Again, it is some Indians like DelhiDareDevil that started trolling again, making this about Islamabad vs Delhi: this thread was an Indian's experiences in Islamabad.

Care to explain yourself with credible evidence?

Ok, so Islamabad has these awesome IT and state firms like you mentioned. Yet according to wiki, Islamabad unemployment rate is slightly above your Pakistan national unemployment level. Being such a beautiful city, it will be hard to believe. While having a low population count.

Not bad mouthing Islamabad with statistics, but saying a beautiful city means nothing without proper economic resources within that beautiful city that is made.

It just goes to show Islamabad isn't elitist like some of your cities are ;)

The city has an unemployement rate below 15% and the literacy rate is around 87%. The stock exchange is there and 2 IT parks are also there for employement.. Also most of the state owned industries have there bases and headquarters there.

Btw I got 16% on wikipedia, can you share your source?

Yep no doubt most of the jobs made with help of the government and not FDI.

New York City has an unemployment rate of 10%. Does that make it a bad city with limited IT or state firms?
