Just to give you an update on "recent history" Russian invasion in Afghanistan ended in 1989, Chechnya was their internal affair and in Syria they are helping their alley Syria fight "Western Creation" anti Asad terrorist FSA.

The more "Recent History" of massacre of Muslims is

1991 - Iraq - USA - 250,000+
2001 - Afghanistan - USA - Innocent civilians killed 500,000+ (add to that 60,000+ death in Pakistan as a direct result of invasion in Afghanistan)
2003 - Iraq 2003 - USA - Innocent civilians killed 300,000+
2011 - Libya - USA - 50,000+
2011 - Egypt - 200,000+
2012 - Syria USA - 300,000+

You can call it internal affair in Chechnya but there are Chechens in Afghanistan and in the Middle East that Russia admits as well. And the intervention in Syria as you point out would be a war against Islam. The destruction of the Russian plane was a start in response to the bombings.

Deterrence for what?, there is not a single nation within your vicinity that can threaten you with nuclear strikes so what purpose does Israel possessing over a hundred nukes signify?, are you suggesting that if there is another Arab/Israeli conventional war you in retaliation are going to nuke the whole of the middle east and turn it into a nuclear wasteland?

You did not answer my second question, why is there a complete silence in the international media and organisations the likes of Washington posts and NY times on Israel's nukes and yet they put pressure and write articles on our nukes WHY?, why don't they put pressure on the WMD's that you posses?, why such hypocrisy and biasness by the united states?

We got nukes because India got it first, we felt threatened with them possessing such a power specially with the conventional advantage they have against us, if we hadn't gotten nukes then today we would have been nothing more than an oppressed colony if we still existed up till now that is.

The effects that we are seeing around the world are not because of Russian invasion of Afghanistan, rather financial and military support of Afghan Mujahedeen by USA, KSA, and Pakistan. Once the Russians withdrew these three failed to help the devastated Afghanistan in establishing a stable political government. It really exploded out of control after US invasion in 2001 and we are still facing that
