If this data is indeed true a very good sign that Raisi finally have lit the fuse under Iranian economy..(remember Iran is still under full sanctions so this is even more remarkable if true!!! )

First Russian LPG cargo transited via Iran

Mashhad, IRNA – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sarakhs Special Economic Zone located in Iran's northeastern Khorasan Razavi province has announced that a first Russian shipment of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) has been successfully transited via the region and through the Iranian territory to Pakistan.

Mohammadreza Berahmand said on Tuesday that more than 100,000 metric tons (mt) of Russian LPG had been transited via Iran to Rimdan Border Crossing in Sistan Va Baluchestan province to Pakistan.

Berahmand said the operation to transit the shipment, which was a first of its kind, had been completed in six months.

He said consultations are underway to conclude a new contract for transiting a second Russian LPG cargo to Pakistan via Iran.

reported at 22 trillion cubic feet (623 billion cubic meters) this is only 0.2% of Iran's total gas reserves .. Iran's gas reserves are at staggering (1200 tcf) ..this new discovery is inland and easy to extract and close to Urban centers for distribution...

صالحی: در مورد اینکه چین چرا هیچ‌وقت در ایران به‌صورت جدی وارد نشده؛ پاسخ کوتاه این است که این نقد به خود ما وارد بوده و کم‌کاری از طرف ایران بوده است.
وقتی آن جیغ‌های بنفش را می‌کشیم، طبیعتا روی روابط ایران و چین اثر مخرب به جای می‌گذاریم. من همیشه می‌گویم تلویزیون اینترنشنال با این فرض که کارفرمایش عربستان بود، چین را از حلقوم ایران بیرون کشید و در کام عربستان گذاشت! یعنی همان موقع که می‌گفت می‌خواهند به بچه‌های شما در مدارس چینی یاد بدهند، عربستان داشت آماده‌ی استقبال از رئیس‌جمهور چین می‌شد
خیلی‌ها دارند پراکنده کار می‌کنند و این چینی‌ها را هیچ‌وقت قانع نمی‌کند که با ما کار صدساله بکنند. الان چینی‌ها کار بزرگ با ما نمی‌کنند و الان نقل شما این است که چرا چین با ما کار بزرگی نکرده است؟ چون ما بزرگ فکر نکردیم، بزرگ برنامه‌ریزی نکردیم. این به نظر من نیازمند این است که مدیر پروژه برای چین تعیین کنیم وگرنه سطح همکاری‌ها به صورت موردی و کوچک باقی خواهد ماند.

به نظر من این حرف کاملا اشتباهه.قبلا هزاران بار و برای نمونه در طرحهای توسعه میادین نفتی وگازی چینی ها ثابت کردن که باهامون تفاهم نامه امضا کردن ولی در طرف مقابل با عراق و کویت هم توی همان میادین مشترک سند همکاری امضاکردن و کار ماروخوابوندن و با طرف مقابل همکاری کردن.عملا چین تمایلی به سرمایه گذاری در هیچ بخش ایران نداره......این که صرفا دلمون رو خوش کنیم به یه سری تفاهمنامه و سند و هیچکدومم اجرایی نشن و بشینیم خودمون رو مقصر بدونیم شده رویه ی ۲۰سال اخیر اقتصاد ایران....................سند حرفم هم میتونه خط لوله گاز صلح بین ایران-پاکستان-هند باشه و یا خط ریلی که چابهار رو به افغانستان وصل میکنه......در هردومورد ماتمام تعهداتمون رو انجام دادیم ولی طرف مقابل(هند و پاکستان)هیچ علاقه ای نشون ندادن........اونا که دیگه چین نیستن.........اما دلیل چیه؟!......کاملا مشخصه وقتی چین و هند و امثالهم مارو در سبد امنیتی-اقتصادی خودشون دارن(یعنی ما همیشه به اونا محتاجیم-خرید نفت ما) وچاره ای هم جز همکاری با اونا نداریم این برخورد رو باهامون می کنن. همین اتفاق الان داره برای سوریه میوفته.........نه چین نه ایران نه روسیه تمایلی برای حضور و سرمایه گذاری در سوریه ندارن چون نه اعراب خلیج فارس که پول دارن میرن اونجا نه اروپا و نه امریکا.....پس سوریه سرگذشتی غیر از آنچه که میبینیم نخواهد داشت.

Your point is absolutely correct ..The China expert missed that point..the english term for it is being a "Captive Customer"..Iran is a Captive customer of China hence Chinese have no incentive to make Iran a priority .Add this to what Chia expert said about negative/uncertain business environment of Iran and all this makes China to basically try not to touch Iran.

All the above can be fixed but the issue of "close" China and Russia relationship seems to have become a political football in Iran..

The old map had Andimeshk highlighted and it reminded me of Andimeshek city from the old imf forum. I think he was one of the best sources of images from parades and war games.

Then why did China sign that secretive Mega comprehensive deal with Iran which was mainly economic by nature? Now Iran shipped the most oil by sea to China this month, more than Saudis, i dont buy this CHina expert's points against Iran fully.

All the above can be fixed but the issue of "close" China and Russia relationship seems to have become a political football in Iran..

Because Russia and China are insecure about Iranian actions and pride that will increase and might be visible due to succesful trade and deals with Russia and China - in short, China and Russia cant stop Iranian power increasing, they can only make it increase slower, and over time that will wear off.
