This type of drone comes handy for rapid deployment in theatre, good for surveillance, target designation, strike on well protected location, it depends how its utilized.

nope policy makers dont interfere in day to day operation of military , they make long meticulous plans,
the fact that pakistan couldn't do anything to help kashmiris itself is a proof of the utter failure of your govt and military and nation , they couldnt even get 16 votes in UNHRC against india and even after the so called speech nothing changed meanwhile kashmiris are still under curfew shows you how much unaware the whole pakistan was caught by this move.

With Advent of satellites such drones are outdated. Actually they are costlier than a satellite.
A hypersonic drone used as Target designator?? Second these drones can't have a good payload (usually). What can they strike unless used as suicide drone

For anyone not wanting to troll. The drone is not hypersonic. Maybe just close to hypersonic at fastest. It is for reconnaissance mission when even GEO satellites are destroyed. They can cover redundant functions so abilities can overlap. It is part of network used to prevent American navy from getting to close during wartime. Conventional navy and airforce can take on currently situated US navy in the region but if more than two carrier groups enter the region, it will be difficult for PLAAF and PLAN to handle at third island chains. If you see news of US navy pacific fleet entirely enter the region it will become war because it is too close in range and they can overwhelm entire Chinese airforce and navy. So these ship ballistic missiles need something to track and guide them. If satellite get killed by SM-3 and SM-6, divine eagle drone can stay around for a long time but they can also be shot down so need more eyes and surveillance.

Every tech has its worth, now SATs are venerable to ASATs and China, Russia, US and India have this capacity.
