So its pretty much like China wants you to sell its IPs to it, at the price which China thinks is right. If you don't want to sell or or want to sell it at a higher price, it will steal it and reverse engineer it. After having done that, when the Chinese companies aren't allowed access to other countries certain sectors it will also have a sulk about it. This is what I have gathered so far from this thread.

China could not and still cannot purchase any advanced IP.

And FYI...calling someone a dog and dismissing the likelihood of chinese state control over huawei hardly promotes your rebuttal capability.

So were they indicted in court of law? No. Oh, what laws are broken by Google? Strangely, Twitter, facebook, youtube and large swathes of Wikipedia are breaking chinese law.....

They broken censorship laws, we have qualms about that. It should be remembered that Google entered business knowing these laws applied. It is them that reneged when they realize that they weren't going to be allowed a monopolistic share of the Chinese search engine market. I do wish people would entered these discussions with facts and an ounce of brains.

They tried to uncensor stuff.

Censoring **** ? Nah!!some facts about Tank Man, makes weasels out of Chinese government.

Huawei also entered in to the agreement knowing that American regulators can object on the basis of National security .. Case closed.

Correct, nothing will stand in front of China's development.

It does not do anything for your critical thinking capability when people present you with evidence that you ignore because it does not match your beliefs.

They do both.

No sweat, it'll be worth all the petty sniping that we endure when we see of China's progress in our lifetime.

Ummm too bad, the elite of your country will have their pocket books in mind when dealing with Huawei.

Exactly.

As long as the Indian politicians and the Swiss Banks, get their ten pieces of silver, there shouldn't be too many problems.

They do both.

What "evidence" did the company or the chinese government present?...exactly? Yeah thats right....zilch! Your goverment is not aware of the term "accountability"

So pretty much China wants the world to be communist. Where any IP is a public property any every one has a right to access, irrespective of the patent holders desire? It will stagnate the development of technology if anything, why would anyone bother doing anything if there is no incentive for them?

This "growth" will not last so long as you decide not to be transparent or employ unfair methods to meet your ends. Karma is a bit3h.
