Help needed to read Persian inscriptions.

Namaskar,

Mughals were Barlas Tribe of Mongolian Origin who migrated to Turkistan/Central Asia and adopted Turkish Language.

Babur clearly classified himself and his People Mongol and made distinction between His Barlas and Local Turks of Turkistan.

Description & background :

Imperial Mughal spinel, attached by gold wires to a gold embroidered bead below a cone of seed pearls on twisted gold thread, another cone of seed pearls attached to the thread, held together by a third cone of seed pearls.

The spinel is inscribed in Persian with the names of its previous owners, the Mughal Emperors Jahangir (r.1605-27), Shah Jahan (r.1628-58) and Awrangzeb (r.1658-1707).

The spinel was taken by the Sikhs in 1763 when they defeated Zain Khan of Sirhind and divided his treasury between them. It came into the possession of Raja Hamir Singh of Nabha and remained in Nabha until 1901 when Raja (later Maharaja) Sir Hira Singh of Nabha presented it to Edward VII in 1911

It now is a part of the Queen's treasures.

By the by, better to end this discussion. :enjoy:
According to historian annete beveridge who is an expert in Mughal studies, the Mughals during the times of Babur were central Asian Turkic linguistically and culturally. Babur had written his autobiography in Chagatai Turkic language. But after the Mughals retreated from India during the times of Humayun they took refuge in Safavid Iran. The Safavids had helped Humayun with troops to attempt to reconquer his lost empire. While living in Iran for all those years in exile the Mughals had become highly persianized culturally and linguistically which shows how all the literature produced by Mughals after was all in Persian and not in any Turkic language.
