Actually, I think that this song is inspired by the song Yaara Silli Silli from Movie Lekin (1991)

I couldnt fiigure it out but the music seemed so familiar..

the songs lambi judai and chori chori were originally sung by reshma and chori chori was later used in the bollywood movie

Yeah true, its a old Punjabi folk song and Resham was an excellent singer.. :)

which world are you living in. there is a punjab in Pakistan as well. Its like saying that only Hindi songs are sung in India
