Donald Trump slams Pakistan for lies and deceit

When some one lost argument, then they will throw dirt on others-A Proverb saying
Toilet,slums,poverty are ready made answers for any query if they don't answer the question,mmm interesting...
Actually you lost the argument, you cant even answer my question on poverty. LOL!

Because you know the poverty in India is worse than Pakistan's.

Get lost Indian!.

CPEC is for how many years, 15 years,right? Means per year hardly 3 billion dollar.Just 1 software company revenue in india per year is more than 16 billion dollar.

There is no hype in India for ports like Gwadar(under CPEC),covered by National geographic channel for one indian port-Megastructures...

@Iqbal Ali @batmannow

Economics doesn't work that way. The money is being used to build infrastructure and power plants, which drive economic activities and in turn provide exponential returns much greater than the initial investment.

@Iqbal Ali @batmannow

That's the thing! There is no hype in India for investment in infrastructure. That is all the more questionable since India needs to improve its infrastructure to allow it to grow from here. But Modi is stuck in gao mutara.

ISLAMABAD: A National Security Committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reached consensus Tuesday that despite all unwarranted allegations, Pakistan cannot act in haste and will remain committed to playing a constructive role towards an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process, ARY News reported.

The meeting called after US President Donald Trump’s Monday tweet in which he threatened to stop all “aid” to Pakistan, accusing Islamabad of harbouring terrorists US is hunting in Afghanistan.

The committee reaffirmed that Pakistanis are a people who hold dear their national pride, who are capable of defending their country, and who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to counter terrorism and to work for regional peace and stability.

TRUMP’S ‘NO MORE’ TWEET AND PAKISTAN’S RESPONSE
The committee, however, noted its deep disappointment with some of the “recent statements articulated by the American leadership”.

The committee observed that the close interaction with the US leadership followingthe initial pronouncement of President Trump’s policy on South Asia had been useful in creating a better understandingof each other’s perspectives on the best way forward to achieve durable peace and stability in Afghanistan.

“The visits of Secretary Tillerson and Secretary Mattis were also seen by the Committee as robust and forward-looking. The Committee observed that given this positive direction of progression, recent statements and articulation by the American leadership were completely incomprehensible as they contradicted facts manifestly, struck with great insensitivity at the trust between two nations built over generations, and negated the decades of sacrifices made by the Pakistani nation,” reads the statement issued after the high-level meeting.

The participants noted that over the past several years, Pakistan’s counter terrorism campaign has served as a bulwark against possible expansion of scores of terrorist organizations currently present in Afghanistan- a fact acknowledged by US authorities at the highest levels. Most of these terrorists have repeatedly launched cross border attacks against innocent Pakistanis with impunity by exploiting presence of millions of Afghan refugees in Pakistan, a porous Pak-Afghan border and large tracts of ungoverned spaces inside Afghanistan.

The committee observed that Pakistan has fought the war against terrorism primarily out of its own resources and at a great cost to its economy, and that even more importantly the huge sacrifices made by Pakistan, including the loss of tens of thousands of lives of Pakistani civilians and security personnel,

“The pain of their (martyrs’) families, could not be trivialised so heartlessly by pushing all of it behind a monetary value – and that too an imagined one,” says the statement.

The committee further noted that even today Pakistan was firmly supporting the US-led international effort in Afghanistan; that it was continuously facilitating this through vital lines of communications for smooth counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan by the international coalition; that as a result of Pakistan’s counter-terrorism cooperation, Al-Qaeda had been decimated from the region; and that it was mostly because of this support that Pakistan was suffering a brutal backlash, including the killing of hundred of its schoolchildren by terrorists based in Afghanistan.

What's your point Indian joker?

Pakistan has responded to Trump's tweet.

Pakistan should formally renounce their military alliance with the USA.

That would allow Pakistan to sign a mutual defence treaty with China.

And China always upholds our mutual defence treaties, see the Korean War for instance, where we fought the USA + 16 of her allies combined to uphold our treaty.

I really hope we start thinking about that. Behind the scenes, need to get prepare for every eventuality. US and India are getting aligned with each other. Who knows, Indians get pumped up and do any misadventure in Kashmir region. I believe we are much capable of handling India but if US joins in as well, it would be too difficult for Pakistan. Indians can be mischievous in Kashmir region while US will love to join as well to spoil CPEC - important node of OBOR.

Whole Eurasian block needs to be formalized as soon as possible.

Good response by Pakistan--to the great disappointment of some here :)
As I had said, had Obama or even GWB tweeted like Trump I would have been really worried. But the current POTUS is truly a person of changing stances. One day this, the next day that.
Pakistan shouldn't let the guard down but shouldn't jump the gun either. When 'actions' are made then reactions are made--until then preparations are made. Learn from North Korea: Make the cost of aggression too much.

Modi is the man of action and non-corrupt, unlike many pakistani current rulers.The infrastructures got a big boost...now highway construction has accelerated to 30 Km/day-mark
India is the most corrupt nation in Asia.
Check the Forbes magazine. lol.

@The Eagle @waz @WebMaster kindly do your job and clean this tread ..

On Topic, It's about time we review our policy towards USA, its a blessing for us that US itself wants to leave us .. we need to bring China and Russia into our fold .
China and Russia in Pakistan's fold :-):-).. I guess you mean the other way around...
