The western nations are only willing to sell more firearms to india to watch china and india kill each other but not get directly involved when strong countries are involved because western countries have zero political will to lose lives.

But india being india, approximately the same military strength as france will find itself getting thrashed because its revamped armed forces doctrine and also weapons purchases are all too recent.
