Vietnamese PM Pham Minh Chinh meet Chinese PM Ly Cuong (Li Qiang) on 16 Sep in Nanning, Guangxi province to discuss various issues, including building the new railway line from Lao Cai to Quang Ninh (more than 400 km)

That’s usual rhetoric. Chinh would tell the Chinese in private when no press is present, time is up. China western bound exports have no future. The relationship to US, EU will get worse, not better.

It’s best to move manufacturing to Vietnam.

Once we make and earn enough the money ($100 billion), we will build the railways.

So long as Pham Minh Chinh is on power, there will be no pivoting to US.

But recently US really bait Vietnam giving VN elites large amount of monies through Vinfast listing.

Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong will attend the Belt and Road Initiative Forum in Beijing from 17 - 20 Oct.

It's just regular political propaganda.

I am 100% sure he would say the same thing to Japan, the United States, South Korea and other countries if it benefited Vietnam. :enjoy:
