HANOI, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Developing the Vietnam-China relations is a strategic choice and a top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said Tuesday.

Chinh made the remarks when meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi.

Speaking highly of China's achievements in combating COVID-19, Chinh extended Vietnam's gratitude towards China for the multiple batches of vaccine aid, which met Vietnam's most urgent needs.

"Vietnam always upholds scientific origins-tracing of the coronavirus, and opposes politicizing either the pandemic or the origins-tracing," Chinh noted.

He called for further international cooperation in fighting COVID-19, as it is the only right choice to defeat the pandemic.

For his part, Xiong said strengthening cooperation in countering COVID-19 is a priority in the current China-Vietnam relations, and that China is willing to provide help within its power for Vietnam's efforts against the pandemic.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam treasures the traditional friendly neighborliness and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China, considering it a strategic choice and top priority in the country's external policy, affirmed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

During a reception Hanoi on August 24 for Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Xiong Bo, the PM stressed that Vietnam consistently pursues the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralisation and diversification of ties, proactive and active international integration, and being a responsible member of the international community. Vietnam does not ally with one country to fight the other.

He wished that both sides would enhance political trust between the two Parties and nations, promote exchanges at all levels, boost comprehensive cooperationa and uphold the Steering Committee on Vietnam – China Bilateral Cooperation mechanism.

Suggesting priority be given to the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Chinh thanked the Chinese Government for donating an additional 2 million doses of vaccines to Vietnam. He hoped China will continue offering vaccines, transfer vaccine production technology and COVID-19 medicines to Vietnam.

The host also suggested dealing with trade deficit faced by Vietnam and wished China would facilitate customs clearance, import more Vietnamese goods as well as tackle difficulties in several projects.
 
Some Vietnamese seems to forget US see Dang Cong San as a cardinal enemy and in perpetual attempts to destroy Dang Cong San.

The US love these folks below instead of Dang Cong San.
